A very difficult read I don't know where to begin. There is some good advice in the book but you really have to work for it. It's like reading a stand-up comedy bit...a very bad stand-up comedy bit. It could have stood a lot of editing and there were many unnecessary words that could only have been used to try to showcase his impressive vocabulary. I think the book would rate a lot higher had the author followed two golden rules...keep it simple and less is more. A very difficult read I don't know where to begin. Nice The author has an interesting writing style. He uses a lot of dry humor but the meat of the book is in how he explains theme and story structure by breaking down the scenes in Star Wars. Interesting take on the subject.

Crapfest I admit I couldn't finish this. It's almost entirely made up of noxious asides and hateful remarks aimed at just about everyone. What little real advice for writers that makes it through is much better gotten anywhere else. Save your time. Crapfest I admit I couldn't finish this.
