I thought the book was very well written and easy to read. It held your interest from beginning to the end. I have always been a reader and I try to figure out who the killer is while I'm reading the novel, but this one was only revealed at the end. Would definitely recommend to anyone who likes a good mystery novel. I have enjoyed reading this book. It held your interest from the beginning to the end. Evil personified Held my attention throughout, however many scenes would be physically impossible, such as surviving 3rd decree burns, or running around while losing so much blood.

Not the full set This "set" is not complete. After three books it just begins again verbatim. She once testified against her own partner as he was doing things that were against the law. Many of the officers that work in her station hate her. The bodies pile up in this story. Seems this man is always 3 steps ahead. Kept me interested.

I read the first book thinking overs just distracted and that's why it took so long, but no. It's just not good. The bad guy is a millionaire, with secret hidey holes so he can disappear, and is able to see everything the cops do. The heroine is not like able, her daughter has no personality, and one other character is supposed to be a Little girl but remembers "there were vehicles" outside. Not cars, not trucks, vehicles. Even though I bought as a set I won't be reading anymore books by the author, including the rest of this set.

I really get annoyed when kindle authors don't write an ending to a book. You have to get the next book to find the ending to the first book. I was glad these books are bundled because I usually won't buy the second book just out of principle. I really "hated" the last book. She becomes so hard and ugly and I hated the ending. I realize it pretty much was what needed to happen and what I thought would happen but my idealistic nature didn't want it to happen. Awesome Set I have never bought a set of books but these were well worth the read. The author brings you right into the story from the begining page to very last page. I was unable to put the book down, I would find myself reading into the wee hours of the morning. The action was never ending. You go away feeling as though you actually know the characters.

A very good story. This was a very, very good book. I enjoyed every word and will buy all the books written by James Hunt that I can find. This man has the talent to take you right into their heads and before you know it you are right there with them. Thanks for a good read.

The end It was a good story wanting to get to the end to see who the bad guy was. I felt that there were too many bodies and his capture took too long but most of all I was disappointed he really had no ties to Cooper. I would still recommend for others to read Stolen Lives.

Excellent story A well written story. There was a great amount of truth in this set of stories. I do wish though that the proofreading was better. I am curious about one thing in the last book, did they use zip ties 30 years ago?

Good read This is an attention keeping set of books. Could have been better if proofreading was more in detail. However only on a few missing words but otherwise exceptional.
