I received this audiobook for free. From the author for an honest review. Four short novellas , each takes place in and around The Cupid cafe. The characters are engaging and the stories are easy to follow. I enjoyed all of them, but thought the third story ended a little abruptly. I liked Courtney Hunts writing and the narrator was great, easy to listen to and also able to tell the difference between characters. Looking forward to more with this pairing.

I imagine Cupid sitting in his own Coffeeshop. He has his feet atop the table. In one hand he has his bow, an arrow ready to shoot. In the other he has Joe's special, sipping it with a little smile on his face, watching the people around him. In this book are four wonderful sweet and sensual stories, about the people of the small town of Ashford Falls. Every story is about a different couple. Zooey, her brother Patrick, and their cousin Joe have one year to make the coffee shop a success, so the series has 12 romances. This setup means that the couplings are of the whirlwind variety, which fits the novella format. Everything from the covers to the tone at the start of each novella screams "sweet contemporary romance", which is why I was surprised when the sex showed up. It's not as vulgar as some straight-up erotica, but it isn't behind closed doors, either. Without the sex scenes, there might have been more room in the word count for building the relationships. The only story out of the four that had an abbreviated sex scene was Cherry Blossom Cappucino, which is a romance between two 70-year-olds. As an older woman myself, I'm not sure whether I should be offended that the author decided readers didn't want to read about two old folks gettin' it on, especially since I felt like the other novellas could have benefitted from that abbreviated approach. Overall, I thought the stories were cute. I read something that said fans of Gilmore Girls might like this, but I don't think this series quite nails the quirky small-town vibe. Still, it is a nice collection of light romances to have on your bedside table for those times when you want something quick to read in between more intense novels.

Sweet love stories all starting at Cupid's Coffeeshop. Three grandchildren must run Cupid's and make a profit in one year's time. The first four books of the series take place in January, February, March, and April. Zooey is the youngest and Patrick's sister. Their grandmother made the will so they would have to come back together and work with each other, or the vast fortune goes to the humane society. The original magic of the coffeeshop is back, 10 years after it shut down. Hopefully the grandchildren can make the profit so they get their inheritance. Only the next nine months will tell, so you will have to read the rest of the books along with me, because I want to know the outcome.

Four sweet love stories that begin in a re-opened Coffeeshop thought to have a special gift of creating loving relationships. In each book, a different couple makes a connection in the Coffeeshop and ends up with their own HEA. In the last book, the couple is more mature. It is a second chance romance after a fifty year separation. All are very fast paced, light hearted romances. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book.

Four fantastic stories. With some heat and humour in each one. Covering a variety of couples in different situations. A single dad and a pre-school teacher, a Valentine's story, a fake boyfriend for a wedding which included a spiky grandma and finally a delightful second chance romance of an elderly couple after 50 years, who showed that passion can still survive after all that time. Definitely need to read the other Cupid Coffeeshop box sets. Four fantastic stories. With some heat and humour in each one. Covering a variety of couples in different situations. Four short books about a small town coffeeshop where romance blossoms! I enjoyed this book more than Kiss a Bridesmaid which I read a few weeks ago. There are 8 more books in the series and I am sure I will be finishing them at some point. These are quick fun reads to have between heavier more serious books.

Patrick, Joe and Zooey have to work together to get the coffeshop up and running and making a profit in a year to be able to get their inheritance. The shop has a history of magic by bringing couples together. Each story is sweet and sexy and thoroughly entertaining.

I received a free copy of this boxed set and the four stories all with a HEA ending were inspired by the patrons and the co-owners of Cupid's Coffee Shop which, the three grandchildren heirs to their Grandmother's will need to renovate and operate for twelve months after which should a profit be made they then inherit a substantial sum of money.
