The overall message of the book was fantastic. I’m an emerging author myself, so reading this book gave me some wonderful tips on how to grow my network. If you aren’t known, chances are your books aren’t going to sell. I’ve mostly focused on internet/social networking, so the fact this book puts an emphasis on offline networking really opened my eyes to more I could be doing. I didn’t realize that, in such a digitized age, meeting people face-to-face is just as important as online networking. However, it also gave me more to work on with everything I’ve already been doing. The book is informative, but it’s also a great read. It isn’t just about analytics or data, it has personality and humor to go along with it. I expected to book to be a little dry since it’s describing how to help build your network, but it was just the opposite. I actually wanted to keep reading and keep finding out more. I gave it a 4 out of 5 stars, simply because of grammatical errors I noticed while reading. I’m not only an author, but an editor. So, unfortunately I can’t help but notice the mistakes within the book when I read. Most readers would never have enough noticed the small errors that I came across. Even with that, I would highly recommend this book to other individuals. It still has a plethora of information in such a small book, and gives it in an entertaining way that anyone would be remiss to pass it up.

I am an author with a few books up at various digital locations. I wasn’t turning quite as many sales as I had expected I would and so I spent a day researching as to ways that might help pick up the pace in that department. In the process, I came across this book and since I’m a fan of many of the other “Express” books, I dove right in to this one too. I found it very helpful as always! I learned so much about how networking is very important and working to implement many of the suggestions. I I am an author with a few books up at various digital locations. That’s important because you don’t want a book that loses your interest when you are trying to follow along and learn something. I’m looking forward to building my network and growing my connections which will hopefully grow my sales and stats as well! Great book, recommended!
