Damn, this volume was epic! The continuous fight between Hank and Garm was as intense and action packed as expected and seeing the two canine Incarnates fight each other as well as the flashbacks showing them side by side was awesome! The artwork was stunning in this, filled to the brim with blood and emotion. Schaal kicked some serious ass and Liza even had her moment on the battlefield. Claude wasn't very helpful, but I can let that slide. This volume had everything I love: action, character g Damn, this volume was epic! With the introduction of the Coup de Grace Incarnate Extermination Force, the story takes an interesting turn. Of course Schaal is able to save Hank's life, but Claude is hellbent on revenge and I really suspect he'll take it out on Hank as things progress. Seeing Hank fight Garmr was fascinating. They're not the same, but it's still a dog fight, albeit a superpowered, mythological dogfight. It was cool watching them use their abilities against each other. So our characters have all met each other now and Hank is finally better! I think him and Schaal are really cute and I'm curious how this is going to continue. Especially that partnership with Cain's brother (rolls my eyes at him). Some action this volume but I think the focus was more on Hank and his psyche So our characters have all met each other now and Hank is finally better! I loved the Hank vs Garm fight as it really does a really good representation of what Hank is thinking. As he is literally and figuratively fighting himself in this fight. Garm representing what Hank could be like if he ever become a beast.
