The publisher suggests this book for readers 8-18 however I would suggest it is more suited for 8-14 or even 8-12. It is currently only available from Kindle and is still being edited before the print version is made available. The concept and story line are intriguing and exciting. There are examples of young people coming of age and learning to deal with responsibility, consequences of decisions, deceptions and fear as they become go-betweens for the living and the dead, with an ending that is totally unexpected. I asked the author if there was a Golem influence in the book and she said that although there was some the Kaballah, which I don't know, was a greater influence. I am glad there is a chance to do more editing for, although time is taken to develop character personalities very well, the ending of the story seemed a bit rushed, and their a few typographical changes that would also be beneficial. It is a good story and I think young people, especially young girls would enjoy it.
