I received a copy of this through Goodreads Giveaways. My review can also be found on my blog here: Teen Read Fiend Overall, I thought the poems were okay. I'm not too into poetry so I'm not sure what's normally considered good or bad. I suppose it's quite subjective and depends on the reader. There were quite a few poems focusing on many different subject matters so there should be something for everyone. I do have to say though, if you're not that into poems like I am then you should probably just skip this and stick with novels (or whatever it is that you do like to read).

I found myself thinking of a line or two, hours after i read them. Isn't that what poetry is meant to do? There is a warning on the front cover and i now understand why its there. The book is raw, unapologetic and hits close to home for each and every reader.
