This is an exceptional book! The author has a son who is on the Autism Spectrum and a daughter with Down Syndrome. She totally gets everything and has written a fabulous, easy to understand book for preparing adult recipes.

What a great concept, well executed. This author defines basic kitchen terms with pictures, susses out the skills that children need, provides instructions, i.e. for whisking, and recipes with clear instructions. This is a great book not just for children with special needs, but all children or folks who feel intimidated by the kitchen.
