Better be at the top of your game to try this textbook on your own. Before trying this book you should have completed statics, the analysis of bodies at rest. When I took Dynamics at NIU, I used this book to enhance my understanding. I don't think I could have gotten through this book without a professors guidance in the class. The only sections of the book you really need to read are the summary sections that come right before each set of problems.
