Toss half brain away before you read this. The writing is terrible throughout the series, riddled with spelling and grammar errors. The story itself has contradictions so often. It reads SO SLOW, with nonsensical timelines. The book reads as if it was written with the intention of being an on-screen script rather than a book. Some descriptions would look good in theory on screen, but it doesn't translate well in novel form. Overall the main series leaves readers with more questions than answers. My students and I were literally obsessed with this series. I purchased books and distributed them every time a new one came out- we loved every moment! This is such a fun read, awesome to talk about with another person who's reading with you, and a cool mix between reality and fantasy. I may even read these again, if I ever find the time. :) My students and I were literally obsessed with this series. This series is embarrassingly good. I read this in middle school so I feel like that says a lot but like- I finished out the whole series when I very easily could have stopped and have gone on with my life without regretting it at all. I thought the plot twists were good, and I loveedddd how the Four/Marina love thingy was hinted at the end of the book. (unpopular opinion- Sarah was annoying and should not have given her life for Four. that whole thing made me so mad)Also loved everything with Ella. Also Six is just such a good female character. I don't knowww this series just seemed like.. kind of progressive for a shitty ya series? Like I felt like all the female characters were super strong and didn't really subject to men/have their story arc revolve around them (with the exception of seven in the second half of the series. but even then like I totally felt her pain yk). Only complaint is that Nine and Four should have ended up together and you know I'm right. (also this should include United as One but I couldnt find the whole bundle and I wasn't going to do a review of every single book so just take this as the whole series).

Good work of fiction by involving earth with alien guys. A good blend of romance, thrill, mystery, suspense, what not..... Personally liked the character of number 4 aka John who has such amazing supernatural powers that he grows during his teenage years and use them to save many from these evil aliens. Six was good again, a good fighter and a smart girl who got in love with friend of John was good. The whole plot was full of suspense and just anyone who starts would instantly fall in love with the plot!

I loved these books! Unlike other series, they were not repetitive and introduced new characters regularly to keep you interested. I read them all over three or four times and they never got old. I recommend these books to people who like sci-fi and fiction.

The first couple of books were very interesting, seeing each new characters abilities and past. The middle books started to become a bit boring. Possibly because of all the new people and having to keep track of everyone. The last books were better to read with the final battle and how they solved everything. I wished the ending/epilogue was a bit better-nothing seemed to change in the end.

I think that this series is amazing! It has so much secrets and moments of AWESOMENESS! I really like it when, Sam who I believe is number six, pushed back that monster during the beginning of the invasion, and the end of the "revenge of seven" book. I wish I were one of the garde, they sound so cool! I was freaked out when Saruktus rah threw Five off of the Mother ship of all the Mogs... But I knew that five could survive, I felt it in my gut! I wish I could meet Pittacus Lore, it would be a dream come true, I may sound childish saying all this, but I would recommend this to EVERYONE! I beleive that the mogs do have a good reason to want to live on earth, but for more than just resources, it is w-a-a-a-a-ay more than that! For mogs living is proving your power. I can't beleive why the mogs just want to take the universe, it's to share for all species, powerless and powerful! It's been a pleasure! thanks Pittacus!
