   Loved learning about missionaries, and the book may be a good one for kids of a 2nd or 3rd grade reading level, but as far as family read-alouds go, this one was really quite sub-par. The content was very superficial, and the writing was very clunky, especially for reading aloud. I'd go elsewhere for missionary stories.    I learned of some very interesting people of God in this little book. Rather you are using the ACE home school program, or not, I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to teach they children about Christian history. The Lives recorded in this little book are, Hudson Taylor, a missionary of China. Wilfred Grenfell, a missionary the North Sea (think Eskimos my friend). David Brainerd, a missionary to the American Indians. John G Paton, a missionary to the south seas. Ann Hasseltine Judson, the wi I learned of some very interesting people of God in this little book. Last but not least, we have David Livingston, the famed missionary of Africa. This is a promising book. :)
