Short story with rescues, spoiled heirs, romance and mysterious goings on. Entertaining, if a bit cheesy at times, it worked.

Another fun cozy mystery from JB Lynn. In it we learn more about some of the characters from the Slightly Neurotic Hitwoman series. This is a stand alone book that follows a dog trainer as she meets Detective Brian Griswald. She is not interested in a relationship, but Armani had given each of them a prediction....but what did it really mean? This is a fun light hearted book that is just in time for summer beach/pool reading. Thank you to the author for providing a complementary ARC in exchange fo Another fun cozy mystery from JB Lynn. Great Series! This is a great book; this book is part of the Matchmaker Mystery series by JB Lynn. Detective Brian Griswald is investigating the disappearance of Armani the psychic matchmaker. He meets Stephanie who is a dog trainer, who trains dogs that have issues to make them more adoptable. Neither one of them is looking for love, and when Armani starts giving them clues they think she is crazy, but the more time they spend with each other they start to think that Armani is not so crazy but s Great Series! Armani strikes again with her cryptic clues. Love that woman! Detective Brian Griswald (from the Hitwoman series) and dog trainer Stephanie aren't looking for love, but maybe it's looking for them. Another great mystery by J.B. JB Lynn captivates her readers with a combination of humor, mystery, romance, and the unexpected. I love the results no matter if it is a Hitwoman book or one of these outside the series books. One thing about her Matchmaker series that makes them especially likeable is the overlapping characters between this and her Hitwoman series. The obvious overlap is the psychic wanna be, Armani Vasquez. In this book, which isn't technically part of the series, there is also the detective Brian Griswald. His uncle is a US Marshall and is part of the Hitwoman series. Brian has also been in the series in his official capacity. In this book, Brian is called to the estate of Ms Dubois in relation to Armani being missing. When he gets there he meets Stephanie Browne, a dog trainer who is working with dogs from shelters and trying to make them more adoptable. It is a pet project of Ms Dubois, and Stephanie's job and use of the estate is because of Ms Dubois. Armani is found and using her talents to give clues to Stephanie about finding her match. Stephanie tries to ignore all that even when events push Brian into her path again and again. Meanwhile there is mystery afoot on the estate and double bad news. Can Brian figure it out in time? Has Ms Lynn ever let you down? Read this short but engaging book while you are waiting for the next Hitwoman book to be published.

Well that was another cute one by Jen. I do hope to see more Armani stories. It was cool how the mafia boss was in the cafeteria eating his chocolate pudding at the hospital - he was a character in Lynn’s Hitwoman series. I’d like my next book to have some magic. Follow me for my next review. I do like those short stories sometimes. Now I think I’m off to find another JB Lynn book…

Fun Shorter Story The beginning premise seemed loosely related to the matchmaker mysteries as the psychic matchmaker played a small roll. But her presence in the book was confusing as it seemed little of the story revolved around finding her when she was missing. Nor was it clear how the hero in the story even knew her or was hired to find her. I felt like I was missing something. But if I ignored the psychic matchmaker aspect of the story, the story was very good, enjoyable.

Relaxing enjoyable story This was the first J.B. Lynn book I've read and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The fact that it had dogs, a handsome Detective, and some mystery in it kept my interest and my reading time was well-spent. I look forward to reading more books by J.B. Lynn!!! A Woof is Sheep's Clothing is part of a spinoff series from JB Lynn's Hitwoman series. You don't necessarily have to read that series to read this book but it does add to the enjoyment if you have. Several Character's from the Hitwoman series show up in these books. Det. She's a little out there but Brian still likes her even if he doesn't believe her. Stephanie Browne is a dog trainer who volunteers at a dog shelter as well. They meet when Brian stops by where she works to inquire about Armani since it was possibly the last place she was seen. Although the two butt heads at first there is something about Stephanie that keeps Brian trying to crack that tough outer shell around Stephanie. When Armani is found safe and sound and still cryptic. Brian finds another mystery to solve where Stephanie works when one of Stephanie's dogs gets accused of biting someone and Stephanie finds herself in harms way. JB Lynn gives us another quick, fun and exciting read. If you like to sit and be able to read an entire book in one sitting this book fits the bill. It leaves you with a smile on your face too and hoping for more.

Another fun mystery in the Neurotic Hitwoman spinoff series! Pets, and mystery, and romance - three things I love wrapped into one awesome book. What's not to love? I totally didn't see the whodunnit coming. The romance was sweet and has a happily ever after. And the dogs were cute and brave and wonderful - the way dogs should be. Plus, there was the fun JB Lynn promises and delivers with these books. Another fun mystery in the Neurotic Hitwoman spinoff series! Another winner from J.B. Lynn. Even though many of the characters are also in Lynn's other series this is really a stand alone book. Stephanie and Brian have a natural attraction that also carries over to solving this mystery. I enjoy the twists, turns and surprises. I recommend a nice quiet beach, park or bench and this is a quick read. Another winner from J.B. Lynn. A fun book. Detective Griswold meets his match as does dog trainer Stephanie. They are very reluctant but Armani is never wrong. And besides the people in the book, the dog Grace gets her match.
