I had to go through this book for a pedagogical grammar course. At first glance, this book is intimidating but once you start reading through the chapters it becomes evident that ... All the chapters basically are segmented by a general introduction to the particular grammar it is discussing (e.g., conditionals) and then goes into to detail about its form, meaning, and use; ending with a conclusion. Also, each chapter has around 8 different teaching suggestions which differing focuses (i.e., form, meaning, and use) and a series of exercises with questions on the chapter. I do feel the need to mention that this book does not touch on punctuation rules. In my opinion, this book is a must-have reference book for anyone in the TESOL (ESL, EFL) field. This book will significantly up your pedagogical game.

I hardly ever do this, but I admit I only read 2/3 of this. But I think that's enough for a rating. You probably won't find a single volume with so much information on grammar that is this easy to digest. BUT this book is so badly organized (I blame the publisher), that I am most likely to just google whatever question I have rather than try to find the answer in this mess.
