    I was given the opportunity to review this book at a time when my receptors are really open to the message. I am becoming keenly aware of the impact my nutrition choices are making on my health, my brain and my mood. I love the illustrated recipes for the smoothies in this book. Even a child could follow the instructions and I also appreciate the information on the benefits and vitamin impact of each recipe. The only thing I am concerned about is the emphasis on fruits in so many of the smoothies. I was given the opportunity to review this book at a time when my receptors are really open to the message. I am becoming keenly aware of the impact my nutrition choices are making on my health, my brain and my mood. I love the illustrated recipes for the smoothies in this book. Even a child could follow the instructions and I also appreciate the information on the benefits and vitamin impact of each recipe. The only thing I am concerned about is the emphasis on fruits in so many of the smoothies. I love the sweetness but also know that even the natural sweetners in fruit are harmful in excess and I personally need to do them in moderation. Also note; Living in a rural area, some of the ingrediens are difficult to obtain so there will be some stocking up to do when hear a Whole Foods or other organic grocer.     I have been making smoothies and nut milks in an attempt for a healthier lifestyle, so was happy when I came across this book by Fern Green. There are beautiful pictures of ingredients and the finished product for every single recipe with their attributes listed. Maybe some of the drinks shouldn't have been pictured though because they didn't look appetizing. lol There is a short introduction about equipment, the greens used and a 7 day detox plan, but the rest of the book is packed with recipes I have been making smoothies and nut milks in an attempt for a healthier lifestyle, so was happy when I came across this book by Fern Green. There are beautiful pictures of ingredients and the finished product for every single recipe with their attributes listed. Maybe some of the drinks shouldn't have been pictured though because they didn't look appetizing. lol There is a short introduction about equipment, the greens used and a 7 day detox plan, but the rest of the book is packed with recipes. This is a great book for people not needing a lot of background about juicing, smoothie sand nut milks and just want recipes to try out. I received this book from Blogging for Books for this review

    This is a vibrant and inspirational book that is organized beautifully and provides an abundance of useful information. With that in mind, I’d rate this 4.5 out of 5 stars! If it had included a full nutritional benefit list for fruit and stated how long the drinks would last after made, the book would’ve received 5 stars hands down.     Smoothies and juices can become a little boring. I tend to discover one that I love and end up drinking the same stuff every day. So to get a good Smoothie cookbook to give the inspiration boost that I needed was great. Love the cover of this book, the introduction was interesting and recipes are easy to follow. Choosing the healthier lifestyle is made just that little bit easier with this colourful book.
