I have tried many tools in my life: mental, physical, emotional, and social ones. That is because I love to learn new things and even more if they are going to support me to be happier and wiser. To be graphical for example, a few years back I was practicing Taekwondo in Santiago, Chile, and the year after I joined a self-development seminar in Savu Savu, Fiji -by the way, I have tried many tools in my life: mental, physical, emotional, and social ones. That is because I love to learn new things and even more if they are going to support me to be happier and wiser. To be graphical for example, a few years back I was practicing Taekwondo in Santiago, Chile, and the year after I joined a self-development seminar in Savu Savu, Fiji -by the way, I love to travel too. I love to learn about running, yoga, universal energy, chakras, regressions, acupuncture, normal therapy, just to mention a few. All this without to mention a lot of things I had the opportunity to learn in career area as a military, lawyer, entrepreneur and personal and business coach. Summary, I am raving fan of learning and self-development. And after all of these trainings and skills, in my opinion, meditation is the most powerful and helpful support for life’s challenges. It might be one of the hardest challenges to successfully achieve, but the truth is that anyone can reach an excellent level of meditation. It is not necessary to become a monk or to start wearing clothes in a different way; any person walking down the street and with a normal life can do this. Meditation is a technique where we work with our minds. If you perceive your mind as a tool, then the first step to make it work should be to examine and then think about how your mind works and the possible uses you can give to it, then make it work in the most efficient way, the one that works best for you. Meditation is a natural way to know your inner self and in this way we can understand how it works and then improve it through education and training... It is required to have a lot of practice to train you mind. For example, how long have you let your mind do whatever it wants? So, do you think that after so many years you should tell your mind “hey, now you have to think only about happy things?” This is impossible! Just like lifting weights or jogging makes your body fit, meditation makes your mind be in shape. The good thing about it is that you don’t need any special gear or equipment. There’s no need to be any kind of specific person, as long as you are alive and have a fully working brain. That will be enough to get you started.
