    I found this book to be very informational and helpful to me as a home baker. It was almost like a textbook and it was really interesting to be able to learn about the science behind what makes baked goods work. The author does promote his own business quite a bit, so it can read almost like an advertisement at some points. But, this book is completely free on the Kindle store, so I can understand why it's written like this. I think it's a small price to pay for the helpful things I learned in r I found this book to be very informational and helpful to me as a home baker. I especially liked how that he took almost every chance he could to give readers general guidelines and ratios for baked goods so that they could knowledgeably experiment on their own as well.

    The perfect guide to keep in your collection. I’ve been baking for 50 years & wish I would have had this book long ago! Through trial & error I learned a lot, but reading this showed me the why’s & had lots of information I didn’t know. It was an easy read & definitely one I’ll use over & over.

    Baking One can always learn something new and great for a novice baker. Many great tips and conversions. Some recipes require more butter/shortening than I prefer to use. Made the Golden Orange Raisin Bread, it was delicious.
