So this book is adorable! And informational! I actually learned something from this book and it was fun! The photos look like they were drawn by kids (some of which were), and there are a lot of colors in the text and photos. It is a short book with a ton of photos, large font, and lots of color. There are breakdowns of some of the terminology used and separate topics in the book, like bones, muscles, and neurology, and then subtopics, like types of bones and muscles. In the back there is a list of new vocabulary that you can practice saying. There are all sorts of facts like "A human adult has 206 bones." Everyone in the family will learn from this book and love this book! This would be great for a classroom of any sort, elementary, middle, high or college level class and beyond can benefit from this book. Maybe you could put this book and a local doctor's office for people to read so that they can understand their bodies better. The possibilities are endless! This book is very descriptive and easy to understand. If you read it please let me know what you thought.

She's done it again! Another great book in the Super Smart Science Series. Each new book is our new favorite and the pattern has continued. Anatomy & Physiology Part 1: Bones, Muscles, and the Stuff That Connects Bones and Muscles is pretty advanced. I'll admit I didn't know a lot of what was covered in it! Anatomy & Physiology is an excellent tool for teaching young minds about the complexities of our bodies. There is just enough information, not too much, not too little. The kids LOVE it and have grown to love science, thanks to this series. Our book choices before were almost 100% fiction before so I'm glad we've been able to branch out to non-fiction. Can't wait for the next one.

This is a really neat book to have in a classroom and should especially be used when talking about the human body. I was thrilled to receive Anatomy & Physiology Part 1: Bones, Muscles, and the Stuff That Connects Bonds and Muscles the week before the end of a unit on 'my body' in my classroom. The simple illustrations and text added so much to my unit of study and many of the children in the class made comments that now they understood what I have been talking and studying about. This is one book I will be using again with many classes in the future and I thank April Chloe Terrazas for my copy of Anatomy & I was thrilled to receive Anatomy & Physiology Part 1: Bones, Muscles, and the Stuff That Connects Bonds and Muscles the week before the end of a unit on 'my body' in my classroom.
