re-read. Great start, funny and unexpectedly cute. Loved the beginning how they meet, bump into each other, start talking. Sweet and awkward with that hint of sexy. Lovely. Then the last 30% is sex. It felt like the parts were written separately and pushed together, loosing the flow and some of the feels. The end part is okay, but the beginning is really good such endearing FUN and makes it well worth a read.

Lovely. Without Camelot and without magic, still a connection born from time. Just lovely. To me, the perfect amount of story and the perfect amount of heat. I truly thought, based on the title, this was going to be PWP. I love when I am wrong when it comes to fics. Just the perfect meeting, the perfect getting to know you and the perfect HEA. Sweet. The beginning is kind of genius, with Arthur being endearingly awkward and tentative in his exploration of his newly discovered gayness and Merlin being just generally awesome and funny. There are a couple fantastic and wryly amusing scenes involving Merlin and Arthur's friends as well as the two of them that had me outright grinning, if never laughing, and an interesting start to the romance. From then on, however, the story started feeling much too rushed, confusing and full of sex, and this so The beginning is kind of genius, with Arthur being endearingly awkward and tentative in his exploration of his newly discovered gayness and Merlin being just generally awesome and funny.
