As a fan of clean romances I was reasonably pleased overall. One reviewer wanted hot and steamy sex. The romance genre is filled with porn, so I, for one am very happy to find an author who does write sex free romances without beating me over the head with condescending religious overtones. I agree with the reviewers who felt the story could have been greatly improved if told in more than 120 pages. This small page count hardly gives the author enough space to really develop the characters without rushing the story line. I also agree with the reviewer who said it needs proof reading. There were way too many easily caught errors. Fire your proof readers! As for the story itself – I found it entertaining, but a bit rushed. Emma and Jonah simply advance their relationship way too fast to be anywhere near realistic. Character development took a hit because of the shortness of the book. This was not quite as good as some of the author’s previous works. About the best I can give this work is three stars.

This is a sweet, somewhat predictable book. Emma was someone who was out of her element when it came to being out west. She'd been raised back east, raised to be a lady. She didn't know anything about cooking, riding a horse or doing laundry. Like I said, she was over her head. But don't count her out, she raises to many challenges without a lot of complaining. In her own way she had grit. Jonah was also a likable character, responsible, somewhat gruff. As Emma spent time with him she began to s This is a sweet, somewhat predictable book. Jonah's family was a nice addition and filled in the story nicely.

Kelli Ann Morgan is one of my favorite western authors to read. The Deardons & the Redbournes are my favorite families to read about, keep them coming Kelli! Jonah Deardon is an honorable, respected, hard working cowboy who must decide how best to aid his deceased brothers mail-order bride. You'll get caught up in this book just as I did, you won't want to put it down, and will want to read more about these two wonderful families. This book was entertaining. This book was entertaining. I was amazed at how quickly I read this book, it seemed like the story was very fast paced and they fell in love too quickly. I think there could have been a better and longer story.

Just as sweet as pudding! This novella was only like 100 pages but it was so cute! The mystery/danger aspect was kind of lame but the rest made up for that. It was so awesome getting to see the Redbourne men as younguns haha! I so can't wait to read Lucas and Noah's story now! Just as sweet as pudding! Always a delight to read. Love Ms. Morgan's stories! Only complaint is she needs a better editor to catch obvious mistakes, but mistakes and all, I love any book with her name on it! If fleshed out could be interesting Though short & sweet not necessary to read as it adds little to the series which has far more interesting intrigue & clever plots.
