This is the best UAM book so far. I've said before that they are hit and miss and this one was a hit!! The blurb definitely didn't do the book justice. There was a major plot twist that I never saw coming! I loved Gaven and Ren. Their relationship was so heartfelt! And the sex scenes were nonstop! Their stamina was supernatural for sure! In these books, she successfully follows up on the secondary characters of the Midnight Mating series. As usual, Flynn does a great job of maintaining her characters and storylines. Action packed ending but the lead up was a pain. We went thru SOO many misunderstandings and misconceptions that I almost didn't get to the better part of the book. Even the first sex scene we had about 3 or 4 issues at least before completion. All the lead-up of Gavin's big secret.. definitely didn't see that coming! The resolution seemed extremely easy also. Scratching out the WAY too many issues/complaints/misunderstandings/hurts etc whatever you want to call them would have made this much bette Action packed ending but the lead up was a pain.
