3 Stars A nice look at these two 6 months later as Sebastian is on his first assignment for the Association with Kyle always at the ready to have his back. Again, ensue lustful culmination at the most inappropriate of times but never fear, these two still get the job done while having smexy fun doing it.

This story is actually included in the first book. At least in my edition. It's featuring Sebastiano and Kyle on a mutual mission that involves seducing a handsome criminal. A bit of jealousy, a bit of action, all in all a cute addition to their storyline. 3 stars. This story is actually included in the first book. At least in my edition. A nice little followup short. I love how in m/m everyone who recovers from major surgery/life threatening stab wounds/a car crash is instantly hard and needing sex as soon as their eyes open.

By the end of The Chimera Affair, young Sebastian has finished six-month training with the Association. I love The Chimera Affair, better than most readers (since I rate it way higher than the average rating) because it is fun spy story, with enough action, running around cities, and make me go watch Casino Royale again. This short story is able to provide the same entertainment; albeit short. I think Kyle being all jealous with Sebastian having to flirt with their target as cute (I can imagine Bond feeling the same if Q is becoming a spy *LOL*). Kyle has been on the field for years, he is one of the best, but this is for the first time he falls in love with someone. I like how Sebastian assures Kyle that it is just a job and he has no plan to go further than flirting anyway. The ending opens a possibility for a sequel -- no, it's not a cliff-hanger, but let's just say that the villain from book #1 is coming back to the surface. So Kyle and Sebastian have another mission to do. I'm looking forward to that adventure.

I cannot get enough of Kyle and Sebastian! And I love that the ending leaves it open for more adventures with these two. I need to find out what happens when Kyle catches up with the director.

I loved the The Chimera Affair. It pushed all my fun-action-spy-romance buttons in one solid go. So, when I saw Ami’s review for this short story sequel, I was one happy panda. This story is set not too long after the epilogue of the Chimera Affair. Sebastian is on his first post-training mission, a seduction of an arms dealer, and he’s both excited and nervous. Things don’t always go as planned, but fortunately these two are adept at changing course (or fitting in some all-important sexy time during whatever spare minutes they can grab together.) Very fun short story, and it was nice to revisit with these characters and see how things have progressed. The ending is nicely HFN and hopefully a (novel-length) sequel will be on the horizon. I’d definitely love to see Sebastian whip out his mad math skillz on a mission. I picked this up today for free from Loose Id as part of a short-term sale (good through 5/15/13), but I would have been happy to buy it too. If you liked the Chimera Affair, you will probably dig this short story as well. I personally recommend reading the Chimera Affair first before reading this. For one, it’s a super fun (and hot) action romance story, and it will also give you the background of the characters and why they’re together. But if you just want to try the characters out, especially this week while the story is free, it gives you a solid taste of their super-spy-sexy-times.

They are so in love that jealousy threatens to rears its ugly head and Kyle has to figure out how to deal with it or screw up Sebastian’s first mission. It is great to see how much Sebastian has grown since the first book in this series but I’m so glad he hasn’t completely lost that little boy in him. The mission they are on is just as compelling in this short as their mission in The Chimera Affair was, it’s amazing to me that it was able to be done in so few words. This is a must read series and the only reason this short lost a star is because of its size, it was way too short! Hopefully there will be more to come, these guys deserve more.

After reading and enjoying The Chimera Affair I was happy to see this short story that gives me a little glimpse at Kyle and Sebastian's future together. Sebastian has finished his super spy training and is on his first solo mission, well as solo as Kyle is going to let him be on. It was a fun, exciting and sexy short and left me wanting to know how they are going to nail the director's rear end! Short story with Sebastian going undercover for his first assignment and Kyle volunteering to be his backup, even being hurt “I’m fine. It’s nothing. A scratch.” “How many stitches?” “Just a couple.” The two fulfil their task and Kyle needs to come clean about his injury “For future reference, seventeen and ‘a couple’ are not the same thing.” and of course Kyle has his own reasons to be there “Wanted to see you.” I liked reading about these two and the progress Sebastian made into his new life. I am totally disappointed! :( Not with this little short... it was just too darn cute for words! But, I just realized that there isn't another book after it in this series... a very sad heart I have. :( I am totally disappointed! :( Not with this little short... it was just too darn cute for words! I really loved the first book and I liked this one too, but sadly it was too short to give an higher rating. It was nice to see our cold and trained assassin, that never fails a mission, become jealous of his younger lover, Sebastian, bcs on his first mission with the Agency,he is sent to seduce another guy.... Since both of them don't want the other touching someone else. I really wish there were more books about them...this ended too damn fast...sigh. These 2 are so hot together....

Loved catching up with Sebastian and Kyle! This story was sexy and exciting, and I wanted more when it was over. I love spy adventures mixed with hot and sweet romance. The door is open for a sequel and I hope it comes soon.

Somewhat lame that Sebastian is now a spy, too, as the dynamic is shifting. That's to be expected as things evolve, but I was hoping he'd work with Marie on the computer/handler side of the operation. If that were the case, he'd be the one worrying about Kyle being in the field, and that type of storyline only goes so far before it gets annoying - Kyle does have a decade of experience behind him, after all. Anyway, I'm curious to see where they'll go next and how their new lives together unfold. Somewhat lame that Sebastian is now a spy, too, as the dynamic is shifting. Just a tiny little follow up that deals with the actuality of Sebastian working as a spy. After all, the danger, the seductions....being on the opposite end and watching that happen is difficult for Kyle. At the same time it isn't about lack of trust, it's more about fear, and together the two can get through it. A bit disappointing that there hasn't been another book because at the end of this there is a little tease about a lead on the Director, so another book in the series would be great! Sebastian's off on his first mission, and Kyle, being both protective and more than a little jealous, is along for the ride - never mind the fact that he just managed to get himself injured and should be resting instead of attempting to play bodyguard. Obviously, sexy times are involved. A cute follow-up to book one but ended super abruptly. Will there be more? I want to know who the director is. Also, I'm having a tough time buying into the idea of Sebastian as a spy. He was so completely naive and unworldly in book one and it's hard to imagine he could come that far, that fast. A cute follow-up to book one but ended super abruptly. Will there be more? Nice to see Kyle and Sebastian again. Sebastian is now learning how to be an agent and this is his first time undercover. Of course Kyle has to be there to make sure everything goes well, no matter what shape he's in (it's just a "tiny" stab wound. no biggie). We get a bit of adventure and suspense, hot smexy times and more romance with these two. Very enjoyable and recommended if you enjoyed The Chimera Affair. I'd love more longer stories. Someday? It was all right, but I felt like it was milking it a little. Also, to be honest I just didn't like the premise. At all.
