Not great. Very short. Nothing new revealed, apart from some disturbing descriptions of Alex Reid as his cross dressing alter ego, Roxanne. She goes into great depth about all her previous partner's shortcomings but you never hear her say what she did wrong in the relationship, she seems to blame the man for everything that goes wrong and ultimately blames them for its end. She goes on & on about her businesses, whole chapters being dedicated to them, which is obviously filler. We know all about it, what's the point in going over it again- oh yes, promotion... I have to admit though that Katie's books are hard to put down, probably because you're expecting her to divulge big secrets and spill the goss but she failed to do that in this one. It's getting to the point now where you don't believe a word she says because with every relationship she has always said how different and amazing it is, and then in the next book she's saying how she never really thought that she just said it to put on a united front. So how do we know she's not feeling that way about her latest hubby? There are moments when she's describing her 'amazing' relationship with Kieran and you know she's going to twist it into something bad when it all ends (such as her having 13 Bridesmaids, you just know she's going to say 'that should have been a warning then & there'). I say when, because unfortunately I don't believe for one minute it will last forever.

I'm not as into Katie Price as I used to be. I still like her, it's just more of the same with her. She writes about her relationships in exactly the same way in every book. She's not planning to get into a relationship, she meets someone and then moves them in, marries them or has a baby with them ect - all the while referring to her past relationships that have gone sour because she has rushed into things, but proclaiming that this one is different! It doesn't help that the men she picks are dickheads but at the same time, I don't think she would be satisfied with anyone for long. She wants a man that works, but not one interested in fame. She wants them to be equal in the relationship but at the same time, I don't think she would actually want that. This would all be fine if it was a fictional novel but it's not. It's someones life and there are lots of kids involved now. Saying that, I don't think she is a bad mum but it must affect the kids with the media attention around her breakups. This is a quick read because her life is anything but boring. There was one chapter though 'Brand Katie' where we were basically just being told about the numerous products available, which wasn't very exciting. Also the first part about Alex. I wanted details! It's all very well saying he wanted to do unspeakable things but I want to know just what they were! At the end she is talking about how perfect Kieran is......little did she know. I will read the next one but overall, I think I'm starting to tire of the drama in Katie's life.

Probably being a bit generous giving the book five stars, it's not a patch on her earlier instalments however I am very biased when it comes to Katie Price so I did love this book. For example she will tell a story say about a friend that sold her out but not say who that friend was. That said it was a positive thing that she held back at times as reading about Alex Reid was sickening and I feel that if she had went into more detail about what he did and what he asked her to do to him then this book would have to come with a warning on the front! And would be a perfect Halloween read. She was quite derogatory about Pete which was to be expected but to be honest he had a reputation before meeting her and is now portrayed as some kind of Saint whereas she has always been slated in the press. Funnily enough the publications which are the worst towards Katie are the ones who have a fantastic working relationship with Pete. What amused me was Katie saying how she is very wary of men as they may be using her for their own gain or to become famous. This may have been the case with Alex and Leo but where are they now? Whereas there is one person who has Katie to thank for their career and everything they have gained over the past ten years and who could have a fantastic career as an actor when their money makers are a bit older. What did annoy me however was the way she speaks about money and how she wants her partners to pay for things. Fair enough she shouldn't have to pay for everything for her partners but at the same time she is accustomed to a certain lifestyle and gets with people like Alex and Leo who clearly don't have the money to provide her with this lifestyle. Also she says she doesn't want people using her to further their career but says how she helped Alex earn more money than he usually would from fights. She says she would be happy with a man with a normal job but I don't see how a man with a 9 to 5 job could equally 'pay his way'. She even says Kieran spent his life savings on her, so let's hope this marriage works out for him! A lot of people are particularly venomous towards Katie but the one thing nobody can deny is how much she loves her kids. Especially Harvey and there was a particularly touching chapter in the book about him. Starting off by saying she carries round cards to hand out to people who stare at him which have information on them about his condition! Also she says how the stares are worse in places like Harrods and Selfridges which is not surprising. She speaks with such love about Harvey and as someone who has followed Katie for years it is lovely to read just how much Harvey has achieved and could go on to achieve. There are some funny stories here regarding him actually, he definitely gets his cheeky side from his mother that's for sure. Also Katie is a very successful businesswoman which again the haters cannot take away from her. She speaks about most of her businesses and also about her ghostwritten novels and says how she would like to write another book about Angel. All I can say to that is I agree and hope it is written soon! It is clear from what she writes that she loves Kieran and hopefully she has found her happy ever after. Overall I enjoyed the book, I must hope when the next instalment comes around then we aren't reading about another failed marriage and how she has found her true love, again.

Katie Price is my British celebrity guilty pleasure because she is so bloody open and honest in her books and well, her life is sadly an amusing train wreck for me (think soap opera times twenty and throw in this is actually her life). I used to watch some of her reality show with her first husband on you tube years ago and quite frankly, there was something about her that intrigued me. She simply does not care what people think of her truly. Just google an image search of her promoting her book Katie Price is my British celebrity guilty pleasure because she is so bloody open and honest in her books and well, her life is sadly an amusing train wreck for me (think soap opera times twenty and throw in this is actually her life). She simply does not care what people think of her truly. Just google an image search of her promoting her books and you will see what I mean. She likes to make fun of herself very publicly. She also is an extremely wealthy entrepreneur(we are talking worth 30-40+ million) and she coming from humble beginnings, that is empowering for women in general, despite you know her rather trashy look. This book discussed her second husband in more detail (a bit annoying she left a few tidbits out but not much, like I said she is very blunt and literally an open book; my god Alex had some not the norm fetishes), her boyfriend of two years who mooched off of her, and her now third husband. When she got to her third husband(thankfully only last few chapters), I inwardly cringed. She waxes so poetically about him and her friend Jane, when again a quick google search will reveal why I am cringing. The gist is her good friend of 20 years Jane along with another friend of 15 years she found out at 6 months pregnant were both having numerous sexual trysts with her husband! Rightly so, she dumped those friends and trashed them on twitter (talk about the ultimate betrayal; her life is better than any movie you will see, her life is one big drama-fest, seriously not one but two long term friends screwing your husband??)Her husband admitted to it and now they are working it out. Now normally, I am a fan of saying cheating doesn't have to be the end in every scenario, however, in this particular case, it is disgusting for all parties involved (her "friends" and husband) and I really hope her next book involves describing how she has kicked him to the curb. However, given that she has two kids with him, I am wondering if this maybe the last book I will read from her (given she may not want to reveal why she's stayed or she may not write another autobiography at all nor will I really want to read it if she does?) A lot of people have complained that she rehashes things (which she does but not to the point where I was ready to put the book down). She also DOES discuss her first husband a bit much for someone who is supposedly "over" him aka on husband #3 right now. Let's be honest since she is too, she is bitter he dumped her. That was truly the love of her life and she has zero closure. I think that brings me to why on earth I have read her books in the first place, I only became interested once Pete divorced her, quite frankly, I felt sorry for her and was intrigued enough to read her books. This is a woman who gets married VERY quickly EVERY single time and has now 5 kids with three different men. She loves love and loves having a big family and doesn't really think rationally at all when it comes to men. If anything, she could be a lesson for a lot of women out there how not to rush into relationships. This is a very light, summery, fast read. The way she talks in these books is exactly how she is in real life (at times when she discusses she disliked her boyfriend's gift, and wanted something more her taste, I wanted to scream, but I guess I have to accept her the way she is, major flaws and all if I am going to read this stuff). So all that aside, don't judge my choices...I read classics too ;)

The last three years of Katie Price's life have been as dramatic as ever. This fifth instalment of Katie's roller-coaster life provides intimate access to her side of all the stories with her own special brand of humour, compassion and total honesty. My Review Everyone knows who Katie Price is! She has had a few autobiographies out already and leaves very little out. She is honest, brash, has a bit of a potty mouth and does exactly what she wants to as she says, you could die tomorrow, seize the day! This book covers in some detail what happened with Alex Reid, Leandro Penna & meeting Kieran and their wedding. She discusses Pete at points throughout the book, Dwight York gets a mention as well as that vile "joke" from Frankie Boyle about her son Harvey. She discusses some of her reality shows, her choices for making them and justifys some of the decisions she has made from Alex to the time the book is published. I think she comes across fairly well, she doesn't discuss every minute detail although some readers may find her discussion of some of the sexual antics quite disturbing to read. If you have read her previous books it is similar themes and content so if your ok with them you will be fine with this book. She certainly leads a colourful life, she is a head strong woman who rushes into love and defends her decisions and right to do so. She discusses some of her wealth in the sense of what she puts her name too, I didn't realise how many things she is into, horse riding products, clothing ranges, perfume and accessories. Wether you love or hate her, she certainly makes for an interesting read and has been very successful as a business woman and she is brutally honest about her lifestyle choices. 4/5 for me this time, very easy book to read and I would certainly read her again!

I have been a big fan of Katie Price ever since her days of only being known only as Jordan. When her first autobiography was released I remember buying it, reading it and loving it. I admire her as a successful business woman and an amazing mother, but I have to admit I am also very intrigued by her relationships which usually seem to end quite badly. Since her first autobiography ‘Being Jordan’ I have to admit I haven’t read any of her others so when I received my copy of Love, Lipstick and Li I have been a big fan of Katie Price ever since her days of only being known only as Jordan. Since her first autobiography ‘Being Jordan’ I have to admit I haven’t read any of her others so when I received my copy of Love, Lipstick and Lies I couldn’t wait to dive in. While Love, Lipstick and Lies is 400 pages long, I have to admit that it seemed a lot shorter when reading it. This could be due to the pictures that are included, which sadly seem to be missing from the kindle version so I was unable to look at these. So I would recommend that if you are interested in the pictures then buy the paperback so you are disappointed. I enjoyed reading about Katie’s life, especially in terms of her relationships, her life as a mother to her four children and her businesses. The problem with this autobiography was that if you are up to date on all Katie Price news then there will really be nothing new in the book. There is a lot about the ending of her relationship with Pete, her volatile and shocking relationship with Alex, her whirlwind romance with Leo, her encounters with Danny Ciprani and her new marriage to Kieran all of which has been vastly covered in the press. This was fine with me as I am no longer really one for reading gossip magazines but if you are then you will probably know the whole story already. I also felt at times that there is a lot of self promotion in this book while she is talking about her different businesses and all the ranges. It was interesting to read about the businesses to begin with but I soon felt as though I was reading an advertisement instead of a book. Overall, I really enjoyed reading Love Lipstick and Lies, and catching up on all that has been going on in the world of Katie Price. It was a very interesting read but I do wonder whether Katie has enough material to keep writing her autobiographies at the rate she has been doing.

First off I am not ashamed that I read this! (Okay maybe slightly ashamed) Anyway...so it's not terrible. There is vague interest in that she's a kind of intriguing person. Then she bitches about various ex's, friends and colleagues whilst never actually saying what they've done wrong cos she can't for libel reasons. Essentially this is a long rant from Katie Price about the evil people she has slept with or worked with. No real substance and the only thing I learnt is that this is one insecure person that craves love and affection but then can't tell whether she has it when it's given and so bitches some more. Bit of a lost cause poor thing. I kinda felt like I wanted to give her some counselling to be honest, someone needs to! Send her help asap!

This book was no different from her other books: trying to gain attention from her son Harvey's condition, her many hiccups with her exes, incidents with the media, and trying to prove to her audience that she isn't the stuck-up, selfish, moody celebrity the media paint her as. Now, I find myself cringing and wanting to finish these books as soon a possible. A woman should not put her personal stories out in the public like this to gain money off book sales. A woman like me, who believes women should respect themselves and the codes of sisterhood, should not be reading this. As I have been following her for close to 10 years, I will probably keep reading out of habit more than interest.

I’ll admit that I do like Katie Price. I was a big fan of her and Peter after watching them fall in love in the jungle and I used to watch their reality show with them and their kids. It was upsetting to hear that they had broken up but I always felt that Katie had a really hard time in the press and Peter got away with a lot of it and reading this book backs that up quite a bit. Katie is clearly not perfect, but she never tries to claim that she is, and at the end of the day she is a good mum. I I’ll admit that I do like Katie Price. Got to say apart from the children's and horse books I've read everything Katie price has written. This was by far her worst autobiography to date. There was nothing new that we didn't already know from twitter, magazines or tabloids. She discussed past issues with Peter and Claire far too much. It's old news get over it! I'm glad she is happy at the moment but can't help but think she was overly gushy about her new romance that you can't help buts think how long is this one going to last! I love an autobiography, by far Katie is always open in hers, perhaps more so than most other people. At times i think Katie is her own worst enemy, she says things that come back and bite her in the arse! I think she mentions Peter far to much in the book, and says she cant get closure as she says she doesnt know what went wrong, sometimes you just have to let that go, things happen in life that we dont always understand, and is it is so obvious of her feelings towards claire, i get the impression she thinks that claire was involved in Pete leaving, at the end of the day, if Pete didnt want to go, he wouldnt have, regardless of claire or anyone else it was his decision. This book does have some depth to it, I am glad shes happy with Keiron, they have a lovely son Jet. I hope it does work out for her this time, it was lovely to read about her wedding, yet it would have been nice to see some more pics of her wedding. Some hot sexy bits in lol, im not a huge fan of hers, but I love reading her autobiographies and I am glad she seems in a good place.

I wanted to finally read a book by Katie, to see what's actually behind the tabloid stories. I can only express my opinion, and it's that the woman is naive, she admits that too, but she is describing some situations in her relashionships that were plain mental and physical abuse... I still don't have more insight into her, because she seems to be repeating the same patterns over and over and over. That was something that was disturbing to read... other than that, well, it's pretty gossipy, easy I wanted to finally read a book by Katie, to see what's actually behind the tabloid stories. I have to give her due where it's deserved, she has made some very good, valid and touching points about disabled people and children, as she's a mother to a disabled child. She has described in detail what it entails and made some very insightful and good points on that issue.

I usually love All of Jordan's autobiographies but this one I'm torn with. She slags Alex Reid off a lot. She knew what she was getting herself into when she dated him. Personally I'm a huge fan of him. When you read about him in the book, honestly he's like a male version of her. She doesn't realize how much they have in common. This was a quick read. I'm glad I read it but I think it could have been a lot better. Just my opinion.

Katie writes frequently about how she hates to be ripped off & how often people take the piss out of her because of her wealth, they think shes "got money to burn" and have a "what's in it for me?!" mentality and yet she then selectively gives the same treatment to her readers by doing exactly the same with this so called "Book" which contains nothing of any substance but promoting her own range of products so she can make even more money after they already paid for her biography. quick summary: 9 Katie writes frequently about how she hates to be ripped off & how often people take the piss out of her because of her wealth, they think shes "got money to burn" and have a "what's in it for me?!" mentality and yet she then selectively gives the same treatment to her readers by doing exactly the same with this so called "Book" which contains nothing of any substance but promoting her own range of products so she can make even more money after they already paid for her biography. quick summary: 95% of this book promotes products. Katie Price's books are my guilty pleasure in life. She's so refreshingly honest and cut-throat that I find it hard not to want to compulsively know everything about her. She hasn't always had it easy, especially in the romance department, but she is a self-made success story however you choose to look at it. This book wasn't the tell-all tale I was hoping for, and while it was entertaining I didn't feel we were getting anything new that the press hadn't mostly reported. This was a strange time for Katie, as the interviews etc. suggest at the time, she really wasn't herself and had had quite a few knocks. Entertaining, but not as good (AKA juicy) a read as I was expecting.

Having read Katie's previous autobiographies I was looking forward to reading this. I was however left disappointed. It was very repetitive and if I'm honest I was bored. A number of times I nearly gave up reading it completely. This was no where near the standard of her previous autobiographies and the language used was so simple, while that made it an easy read it just didn't hold my attention. This book just felt like an opportunity to slate everyone she could. I very much doubt I would read Having read Katie's previous autobiographies I was looking forward to reading this. She recaps way too many things that were in the previous book. It is still an interesting read talking about Leo who sounds gorgeous and obviously we've seen him and he is hot! Shame about his personality. The positive aspects are that I learnt a lot about Harvey's condition and she really is a loving mother. Negatives- It's uncomfortable reading about Kieran knowing all the while she talking about how in love they are he was sleeping with her friend although that part is not in the book it's ju She recaps way too many things that were in the previous book. Finished. As she hoped was Alex Reid when he did not do what she wanted or demanded I am sure. In the book before she was gushing about him, telling us her family liked him and in the next books you will hear how everybody hated him and how nasty he was. Sorry after reading her books you know who is honest and who is not and one thing KP is not capable of is taking a look at herself. I know a lot of narcissistic men but this is one hell of a narcissistic woman. She is so obsessed with herself. A Finished. I love abit of juicy gossip about less than reclusive celebs. Was so looking forward to reading this. Was expecting shocks galore. Sadly apart from a few bedroom secrets there wasnt a great deal I didn't already know. Read most in heat magazines and other celeb mags and at half the price. Having read all of Katie price's autobiographies I had to read Lipsticks, love and lies although the book was a lot shorter to her other ones, but she still went into details about her past relationships but thankfully she didn't go into to much information about Alex Reid's crossdressing alter ego Roxanne. The book started out good but After a couple of chapters you soon realise she has to get a dig at Pete in almost every page. Business wise, I am a huge KP fan but this book just seemed to be nonsense. If she wasn't shamelessly promoting her products, she was slating her ex boyfriends two pages after saying they were "the one". Very repetitive and a waste of money. sucked in by media stories of katie price.. I was intrigued and wanted to read about the "real her" which I still doubt this really is the real her... she claims she's naive, blinded by love, if she knows she is shouldn't she learn to put her guard up and live her life for her? the word celebrity is bizarre and so is living in the eyes of the media...... sucked in by media stories of katie price.. Skim read. Love a bit of trashy reading now again. And this was definitely trash. I do feel for her, continuously choosing the wrong men, but why start talking marriage and babies with each one within 5 minutes? If them having a job and not sponging from you is so important, why not wait rather than dive in and then complain later? Come on Katie, surely you've learnt by now!! Skim read. I've not read a Katie Price book that I haven't loved! Her life is full of drama but at the same time she is a really down-to-earth girl with a very endearing personality. Enjoyed hearing about her third wedding, although now that I know there's another book detailing Kieran's affairs, I'll have to read that one too!
