Ross is in town for business when he notices Kelsey. Not one for having one-night stands he's feeling down over his recent divorce and believes that losing himself in the arms of a beautiful woman is just what he needs. What neither of them was counting on was on their instant connection or seeing each other ever again. Inara Scott did a wonderful job with this story. I loved the concept behind it and how it was all brought together in a sweet, funny yet sensual story where opposites attract and the deep connection between the characters overrides everything else. I loved Ross. I enjoyed both his fatherly side and his passionate one. When he unleashed his lust for Kelsey he really let go and went with it. He denied, retreated and stepped up to the challenge all within a couple of pages. It truly made for an enjoyable read. Kelsey was a great character too. I enjoyed her determination when so many tried to derail her. In the end, she was true to herself and her feelings and I admired her for that. She was funny, caring and straight-forward. She gave as good as she got and that just made her pairing with Ross that much more interesting. The secondary characters introduced in the story were great too. I enjoyed Ross and Kelsey's interactions with them, especially the kids. I loved that the author included them throughout the story and didn't just use them as props. They engaged the main characters and even brought out another side of them that would have been otherwise hidden from the reader. Falling for Mr. Wrong is the third book in the Bencher Family series, but it can certainly be read as a stand alone. The other two titles in the series, Rules of Negotiation and The Boss’s Fake Fiancee , are already on my TBR shelf as we speak. All in all, a sweet romantic read with emotional undertones, explosive chemistry and intriguing characters that compelled the reader to cheer them on into achieving the happily ever after they so deserved. I received this title from the publisher in exchange of my honest opinion.

After reading the previous two books in this series, I was expecting a fantastic read and that's exactly what I got. Inara Scott does it again with the story of a divorced father of three and a mountain climber. Yes this kind of sounds like an odd combination, but it really works. The author has crafted two characters who are likeable and have real issues to deal with. I loved this book and all of the characters, Ross, Kelsey, the kids and Marie, Kelsey's best friend. I even liked Ross's ex-wife Jenna, she was a surprise. The chemistry is hot with Ross and Kelsey and it kicks off with a no strings encounter years previously and only heats up when Kelsey turns up on Ross's doorstop. Watching them fight it is fun, but even more enjoyable is when they give in and find creative ways to be together. Oh the joys of being a divorced dad and trying to have a social life. When mountain climber Kelsey does a favour for a friend who runs a babysitting service, little did she suspect that on the other side of the door she just knocked on is the one night stand from years ago she can't forget. It's bad enough she is filling in as a babysitter, now she has to face Ross. Ross Bencher, harried divorced dad of three, newly relocated business man was not expecting to see Kelsey when he opened the door for the babysitter his ex-wife has arranged. But this is what happens. He can't believe she's there. He's thought of her a lot since their night together but he never expected to see her again. Since fate has thrown them together, they make the most of it. Ross needs help and Kelsey is it. While Ross is trying to set up his business in a new state and is possibly going down a dark path with a competitor, the kids quickly fall in love with Kelsey. Who wouldn't when she takes them rock climbing and the park ? She's a no commitments mountain climber, he's a single father who has a set requirements for the future woman in his life. What happens when love becomes a factor ? Can Kelsey and Ross change their plans for the future for love ? This is a great read, I've already said I loved all the characters, the kids are adorable especially Julia who will melt your heart she is so cute. I am hoping Marie is getting her own book and soon. She needs a story. Plus we get to see Brit & Tori from the first book in the series. This is an auto buy author for me and I am looking forward to many new books and getting lost in her writing again.

Some of the best books are about opposites. This one is no exception, divorced father of three Ross is a New York business man, a corporate developer and city slicker. She's confident in who she is and what she wants. The first chapter of the book after the prologue is pretty amusing as Kelsey is asked to help out best friend Marie by becoming a nanny for a week. Kelsey has no experience of children, is an even worse cook than me, and is beyond reluctant to take on the role, but that's what best friends do. Little does she realise that the family she will be nanny to is Ross's, who she hasn't seen in three years after a very hot and satisfying one night stand. Kelsey hasn't got time for a social life, or family, as she's busy preparing to climb a mountain in Nepal that could kill her. Ross doesn't have time for a relationship, he wants to put his children first and re-start his business in Colorado. It's an interesting journey, the mountaineering side of things is well explained, as well as the focus that's required. Any one who's a parent will appreciate the elements of the book that relate to the children, and anyone who can't cook will giggle at Kelsey's failed attempts. This book is about family relationships, and obligations, be they right or wrong. It's about having the conversation you should have had a long time ago and not just doing what's expected of you. It didn't have the ending I was expecting, but that's a good thing. It's a very enjoyable read.

The third book in a series, I must admit that I haven't read the previous two. And whilst this could easily be a standalone read, I shall certainly be reading the other Bencher sibling books as this was a great read. He is a Dad of three trying to run his business and cope with life after divorce. When a newly single man and an adventurous lady embark on a no-strings night of pleasure, little do they know how their paths will cross again in the future... What really stood out for me was the realistic elements of the book but not without those that allow you to lose yourself in the romantic journey. Both Ross and Kelsey have flaws and fears and having married a divorcee with kids myself I know it's not always a walk in the park, but I also know how easy it can be which is depicted so well throughout. Ross simply wants to find the right person to be a part of his kids life. And his kids are fabulous, bringing their innocent honesty and bouncing between fun and argumentative, sweet and sulky. Romance and sexy passionate moments are perfectly balanced with touching, frustrating and heartwarming ones and whilst I would've an epilogue, it doesn't detract from a great read. Falling for Mr. Wrong reinforces my mantra, you should always follow your heart.

Falling For Mr. Wrong is another enjoyable romance in this series! This time we're following Ross, who is now a divorced father of three, and Kelsey, the new babysitter. Oh yes, this is a sleeping with the babysitter romance! Well, it's more than that because Ross and Kelsey had met three years prior and had a wild one-night stand. I did really enjoyed Falling For Mr. Wrong, but it felt really long. I finished it quickly, because in reality it's short. But I felt like it was taking forever and as if more and more plot points kept getting added. It started off great with the one-night stand reunion, and Ross trying to convince himself that he can't date a risk taker like Kelsey. Then Ross's career woes are added on, and Kelsey's upcoming excursion, and then her relationship with her father, and then Ross's family shows up. And it just kept going and going. I still enjoyed it overall, but it could have been more concise. Read more at Pinkadot Pages.

I really love a good contemporary romance and Inara Scott does an outstanding job in delivering that to her readers. After ten years of marriage, Ross Bencher finds himself divorced with three kids. After ten years of marriage, Ross Bencher finds himself divorced with three kids. He doesn't know what went wrong and didn't see it coming, but his wife just knew there was something more, something real out there, a love that is passionate and true, and see decided she wanted to try to find it. Kelsey Hanson was an adventurer, a mountain climber, and totally not Ross' type, yet when their eyes meet across the bar they happen to both be in that night, the chemistry and attraction is like an electrical cord stretched between them surging with power. Their encounter leads to a one night stand, something neither of them do, and a night of uninhibited passion the likes of which neither of them has ever experienced. They not only share something physically, they talk about things, deep things, both opening up because they know they'll never see each other again, something that releases a freedom in both of them to go places they've never gone, and something that leaves each of them with a memory they'll never forget. Ross goes back to his life, his business, and his children in New York and Kelsy goes off to climb her dangerous mountain, not really knowing if she'll survive it. It is now three years later in Boulder Colorado. Kelsey's best friend Marie runs a child care agency. After her employees all succumb to a bout of food poisoning, she enlists Kelsey's unwilling help to fill in for a few days. Kelsey is practically allergic to kids, especially babies. She has never wanted or thought about a family. That is just not in the cards for her because of the lifestyle she leads. She is a mountain climber, and is once again training to tackle the killer mountain that she attempted to climb 3 years ago. Reluctantly, she goes to the home with the three children she is to watch and is flabbergasted when Ross Bencher opens the door, first of all because it's him, and secondly because he's in Boulder. Ross is even more taken aback than Kelsey is and both stand there gaping at each other for a moment trying to gather their composure after the surprise of not only seeing each other again, but the rekindled passion that just the thought of each other ignites. After explaining the situation to Ross, he reluctantly agrees to Kelsey babysitting his children. Because he believes she is irresponsible, a risk taker, and the type of woman he vowed never to get involved with, he is determined to have nothing to do with her on a romantic level, and finds himself frustrated and angry because he can't get her or that night out of his mind. Kelsey also wants to get this job over with as quickly as possible because the last thing she needs or wants is to a job babysitting or a guy with three kids. Fortunately, or unfortunately, depending on how you look at it, the heart wants what the heart wants, but whether these two choose to follow their hearts or their minds remains to be seen. I loved this story. Different things appeal to different people, but for me this story was one of those that I just couldn't get enough of. I loved the story itself, the setting, the romance, the mountain climbing aspect of the story, and the role the kids played in it. Ross discovers there is a whole lot more to Kelsey than what he thought and that his assumptions about her were far from accurate, while Kelsey discovers that the things she thought she wanted maybe weren't what she really wanted deep down after all. A whole lot of things take place as the book unfolds, the passion and romance is hot, and I enjoyed the banter between Kelsey and Ross as well. In addition, there are some humorous moments, as well as some very serious ones. Overall, I just loved Falling for Mr. Wrong. It was one of those books that is just a pleasure to read and if you are a contemporary romance fan, I would most definitely recommend checking this book out. Favorite Quotes: “So you’re telling me after your divorce you made some kind of inner pledge to only date Donna Reed?” “Basically, yes.” “And then you slept with me.” "Dear God." Ross pulled back, frowning. "Are you climbing Mount Everest?" Kelsey smiled. "No. Annapurna, actually. Annapurna One." "There's more than one of them?" "It's a section of peaks in the Himalayas. Annapurna One is the tallest. Not as big as Everest, but size isn't everything." Ross waggled his eyebrows. "Anyone who says that is lying, you know." "Saying I liked Ross Bencher would be like saying I liked heroin. And you and I both know I'm way to smart for that." Marie said, "you are the only woman I know who would compare a divorced father of three to heroin." "Everyone has their own version of heroin," Kelsey said. "Mine just happens to be responsible, dedicated to his family, and dead set on dating women who resemble Betty Crocker." "So you admit you knew I was headed for disaster?" "Maybe just a little." He pulled his mouth into the barest hint of a guilty look. "I probably should have warned you." "Probably?" "Okay, I almost definitely should have said something. But you were all 'I've got a gold medal in cartwheels, what do you have?' and I'll check the brakes and make them wear helmets." He raised his voice to mimic her, then dropped back to his usual baritone. "I was provoked."

First off I love the one night stand comes back to bite you in the butt plot line and in this book she comes back as a fill in nanny/babysitter. Secondly, I love when two characters are so mismatched but the chemistry is so hot you expect them to go up in flames right before your eyes. Lastly, I love a hero and heroine that are matched intellectually as well as physically despite their very different lives. This book has it all and then some and I read it cover to cover because I simply couldn’t put it down; it is just that good! When Ross and Kelsey meet on the day of his divorce from his wife of 10 years they attraction is immediate and the night that follows wicked and amazing. They know it’s one night; he’s in town on business and she’s leaving on a trip she may not come back from but during that night knowing they will never see each other again they share insecurities and personal information they’ve never shared with another. They leave it at that and go on until one day three years later… This is one of those books that you become a part of because you can’t help but want to be with these two as they try and figure out what strange force has brought them together again. I love their reactions when they see each other again. I hate that Ross is so judgmental when it comes to Kelsey but understand it all the same because she is going to be working with his three children. I just hate that he can’t see past what she does to the person she is at least not as first. Kelsey is one of those women that I admire greatly; she trains hard so she can do what she loves and she doesn’t give up. But, she’s also scared, lonely, unable to trust, and has a hard time listening to things she doesn’t want to hear. It was fun watching her go from being afraid of kids to mixing it up with Ross’ three children with ease. The fact that their attraction for each other is always there makes their lives a little difficult but they find themselves unable to stay apart and when they are together no surface is safe! Hot doesn’t even begin to describe their intimate scenes. The fact that they try to convince themselves that it’s just about sex is interesting to watch but in reality they both come to realize that they need each other like they need air. While their relationship is building, Ross is trying to come to terms with a business deal and Kelsey is training for her second attempt to climb Annapurna. In addition they are dealing with Ross’ children while his ex-wife is out of the country, Kelsey’s dad, and her friend, Marie. All are important to the story and all are interesting in their own way. I especially loved a pivotal scene with Ross and his ex-wife; seriously some tear inducing moments. Sometimes you read a book and it’s really just a perfect story and Falling For Mr. Wrong is one of those books for me. I loved this book so much and it kills me to not give it 5 stars; my reason…I wanted an epilogue. After everything they went through, all the problems they thought were insurmountable; I wanted to know how the news of their relationship affected everyone in their circle. However, this is still one of my top reads for this year; the characters are phenomenal, their story fresh and entertaining, their plight unusual, and an ending I didn’t think I’d get but I did. This might be the first book I’ve read by Inara Scott but I can guarantee it won’t be the last!

“…she always told me that having a child was like having a piece of forever, right there in front of you. It’s like looking at the summit fresh, every morning…” This is another author that I’ve never read before and I have to tell you that this book was a perfect start for me. It’s like looking at the summit fresh, every morning…” This is another author that I’ve never read before and I have to tell you that this book was a perfect start for me. I absolutely loved this one for many different reasons. I thought that Kelsey’s character was exceptional. She is this driven athlete, devoted daughter and friend who dedicates her life in caring and protecting those around her no matter the consequences. She is set to climb Annapurna with her father Mick as planned for years. It has always been one of their goals since tragedy had once struck their family on that very same mountain. She knows the risks that she takes and even though it isn’t in her heart to do it she is obligated to do it for her father. She should have been busy training for that climb but once her best friend called out to her needing her she didn’t hesitate to help. She ends up agreeing to becoming a nanny when she had never been around kids in her life. She was clueless what to do but she didn’t want to let her friend down. That is just her personality – loyal and self-sacrificing. Ross was a one-night stand from years ago. Their connection was so deep then but because of the circumstances their encounter was just tacked as a hook-up. They never knew that they would see each other again. They also knew that even if they both felt this soul deep connection that they would never work. Their lives are just too different in many ways. Their differences were what made this story work for me. They had all the elements needed to make a relationship work except their goals in life. I thought that the push and the pull between compromising was exquisite. It made for them having some outstanding chemistry in and outside of the bedroom. I thought that Ross was amazing too. He always had his priorities straight. His kids came first above all else. He would have fired Kelsey in a minute if he thought that she was unfit to care for his kids even if he was very much so attracted to her. I also loved how Kelsey was never set out to befriend his kids not just because it was part of her job description but because she really cared. Involving children in a new relationship could always be a disaster but with Kelsey everything fell into place naturally and I loved how the author did in amazing job with conveying this. I also won’t neglect to mention the other remarkable relationships in this story. After Mick got over Kelsey’s decision they shared something so profound it brought tears to my eyes. Ross seemed to have a distant relationship with his brother but it wasn’t like that at all. He stood by him and supported him when he needed him the most. The relationship between Ross and his kids was very touching as well and then there’s the relationship that he had with his ex-wife. I couldn’t believe how supportive she was with everything. She had so much character in this book even if we just got a few sentences about her and I am hoping that the author pens a story about her in the future. Loved every thing about this book. The writing, the story flow, the chemistry and even the beautiful setting. I fell in love with the characters the most and I know you will too. liezelsbookblog.net

The impress I have gotten from the other books was Ross was a really young sibling. Well, my little bubble was burst when I found out that he was about a year younger than Britt. Anyway, today I bring you the third installment of the Bencher family, Falling for Mr. Wrong by Inara Scott. I must say that have enjoyed each and every book. I believe there is one more sibling, but I could be wrong. Back to my purpose. If you have read any of the previous books you would remember Ross had a pretty rocky marriage that eventually ended. After his disastrous marriage he decided that he needed to find a woman that would be the epitome of Donna Reed. For those who don't know who Donna Reed is, well she was a 1950s TV mom that did everything that a wife should do. Ross didn't want to find an impulsive adventure seeker for his next wife. Of course the woman Ross finds is the complete opposite of what he is looking for, meet Kelsey Hanson. Kelsey is basically lives like a nomad. She doesn't form attachments very well and she tends to look for an excuse to bail. Part of the reason is her father. As I have said, I have enjoyed all the Bencher books. If you have read the previous books Ross was kind of portrayed as a playboy. However, that's not really possible, because most playboys tend to focus on themselves while Ross tends to focus more on his children and even his ex-wife. Yes, his ex-wife is still in the picture, but more like his best friend. I know weird, but it works for them. So, that really endeared me to really like Ross. He had was gooding looking and kind, but had that "Oh I can be bad" edge about him. That could have been his confidence that oozed off him. Now Kelsey. I'm not going to lie, I wanted to choke her. Seriously, she drove me nuts with "oh I'm not good with kids" or "I never really wanted to be married or have a family". I guess you tell yourself something like that enough, you start to believe it. However, Kelsey's problem was her father and her lack ability to standup for herself when she was around him. Kelsey is a strong independent woman, but when it came to father she became all pathetic. That's part of the reason she drove me nuts. She almost missed out on a great thing in her life by not finding her backbone. Overall, I really did love the story. Yes, Kelsey drove me nuts, but Ross and his kids really won me over. I love how Ross was more than the playboy guy and how he really grew into a great guy. Both of them are bit stubborn and set in their own ways. Yes, they struggle to compromise, but somehow made it work. Kelsey had to learn to be herself, while Ross had to let go of his preconceive ideas of a proper wife after a divorce. So, if you are looking for a good story with two stubborn people, you might want to give Falling for Mr. Wrong try. Copy was provided by publisher and author.

Ross Bencher kinda stole my heart. And then his 3 adorable kids enter the picture and I’m a goner. Inara Scott took a typical one night stand plot and turned it into a really sweet opposites attract romance. The first time Ross meets Kelsey, he’s just signed divorce papers and is feeling lonely and Kelsey is about to leave for Nepal the next day to climb a dangerous mountain. They know they’ll never see each other again so they give in and enjoy one night of crazy bow-chicka-wow-wow. Fast forwar Ross Bencher kinda stole my heart. Fast forward 3 years and whamo – Kelsey is unexpectedly thrown into Ross’ life again. Ross is a single dad of 3 kids, trying to make a new life for his family in Denver. I liked Ross because he was the exact opposite of most male lead characters. He wasn’t broken, damaged or a cocky jerk; he’s a good guy, great dad, and super sexy. He’s not trying to manipulate anyone; he’s honestly a decent man with a great set of morals and wants to do the right thing. Kelsey’s job choice makes her a unique female lead character. She’s a mountain climber, not just your average mountains either – she’s focused on climbing one of the most deadly in Nepal. When Ross and his family insert themselves into Kelsey’s life, it’s an unexpected diversion from what she’s supposed to be focused on – training. In the beginning, Kelsey kind of drove me nuts with some of her insecurities, the biggest one being her resistance to being around Ross’ kids, or any kids for that matter. Kelsey was actually a perfect fit for those kids, even helping one of them break out of his shell. Kelsey’s dad was pretty much a selfish jerk. Kelsey is so loyal to him, giving up what she wants to be there for him. I kind of wanted to kick the dad in the head and tell him to go take a hike. Kelsey and Ross can’t deny their sexual chemistry which is as hot now, as it was 3 years before. But now that they are seeing each other on a more day to day basis, they can actually get to know each other better. Even though Ross and Kelsey are polar opposites in most ways, they both have the same core values – loyal, kind, and responsible. They are both really, really stubborn which doesn’t help them get it together very quickly but usually insta-love is hard to believe so I enjoyed watching them try to figure out their connection and where it should go. Real life is normally kind of messy and complicated and Ross and Kelsey’s story felt like a real life normal and messy relationship, it wasn’t supercharged with unnecessary drama and complications just so there could be some angst. I do have to say that the ending was a bit abrupt; I would have liked to have seen maybe one or two more chapters to wrap up how Kelsey’s decisions affected Ross and the kids. Falling for Mr. Wrong was sexy, fun and the characters were very well developed. I enjoyed the unique mountain climbing aspects of the story and I would definitely read the other books in this series. My rating: 4 stars

Two people that are the total opposite fight to keep their feelings hidden. A man that wants a person that I’m sorry is safe when he could have a woman that could rock his world. A man that wants a person that I’m sorry is safe when he could have a woman that could rock his world. A woman that is frightened of kids is about to take care of three children but spending a little time with them and she sees that they are not so bad after all. Now if only they could quit the running around and just be together it would be wonderful. This is the third installment of the Bencher Family series and I do have to admit that I’m going to have to read the first two books in this series. Ross Bencher and Kesley Hanson met three years before they reunited again. It was one night of passion and a night where they both just opened up and emptied their souls. Kesley was about to do another climb and she was scared. Ross had just signed his divorce and didn’t want to get into a relationship to soon but he was going to look for a woman that would be safe. Now Kesley is entering Ross’s wife’s home as the babysitter, this woman that takes risks climbing mountains. Kesley was scared she had no idea what to do with these children and now seeing Ross again she doesn’t think this will work out. But one caress one kiss is all it takes for them to get reunited in the sheets or maybe just stand up sex. This is about two people that have a second chance at love if only they believe that they could make each other happy. It seems that they both have not forgotten each other since the day they met those three years ago. Kesley and Ross’s feelings for each other seem to be growing and they can’t stop thinking about their last sexual encounter. Only that Kesley is training for her next mountain climb and Ross needs to think clear about his business deal that needs to happen in order for him to make it in a new town. Falling for Mr. Wrong is like I said the third in the series but it can be read as a stand alone. The storyline in this story is beautiful about hope, the chance for love. The characters are well developed. I loved the children in the story, Julia is a breath of fresh air and then there is Luke. The oldest child that was having a difficult time adjusting to life away from where he grew up in, the thought of having to make new friends but I’m happy that he found something that made him beam. These feelings that Ross is having are playing havoc on his life but he can’t stop them but Kesley knows what she needs to do. She needs to do this climb she had already let her dad down once it was not going to happen again. This climb is not going to be easy and someone could die. Ms. Scott is a wonderful author that has a gift to write romance stories. This is my first read by this author but it will not be my last. I highly recommend this read to any reader this story will captivate you as it did me. Thanks to NetGalley who provided me a copy of this ARC for an honest review.

Both think each other wrong, but with the chemistry agree to a one night stand with no holds barred. Neither one forgets the other. Three years later Ross has moved to Denver where his ex-wife and kids are living early as she has an emergent meeting in China for her job and she has hired a baby-sitter to help with the kids. Kelsey is child phobic but is asked to help her best friend out as all her sitters have varying degrees of food poisoning after a night out. Kelsey reluctantly agrees to help out only to find Ross opening the door to her. Very awkward for both of them. Ross and Kelsey get off to a rocky start, but two of the kids immediately love Kesley and her outdoorsy type, getting them up and into sporty type things. The eldest child is the hardest to crack until she takes them to a rock climbing wall where he excels instead of his brother at a sport for a change. The tension between Ross and Kelsey mounts and they end up having sex in the house once the kids have gone to bed after a few failed attempts and a good few passionate kisses. When a job proposition means that he has to take the kids camping he asks Kelsey for help as none of them has been out camping before. They all love it, however when he has to meet the man he needs to buy land off and he is brandishing a gun, he is appalled to see Kelsey get out of the moving car hands up at talk to the man. His kids love her and his feeling are getting stronger fuelled by red hot passion in the bedroom. He sees something in Kelsey that know one else seems to see, she doesn't really want to climb Annapurna, shes doing it keep her dad doing anything stupid like kill himself as he goes on the climbs with her. It is a conversation with his ex wife that leads him to the conclusion that he loves Kelsey and knows he needs to ask her not to make the climb. After a talk with Ross where she turns the man she loves away, she has a chat with her dad and they talk more than they have in years and get a few things straightened out they should have said years ago. When her dad leaves she steps outside only to be surprised that Ross is sitting there waiting for her. We get our happily ever after, but it lacks conviction and i would have loved to see a longer epilogue as the ending seemed unfinished. This said it is a lovely quick read with the feel good factor.

Inara brings Ross's brother and wife into this particular storyline which gives a familiar feel to the series. With a family merger in the works, we may get to see the Bencher boys together in future novels. The premise focuses on divorced dad of three-Ross Bencher and mountain climber extraordinaire Kelsey Hanson who had a one night affair three years previously. Fast forward three years and Kelsey will find herself the babysitter for Ross's three children when their nannie calls in sick. What Kelsey never expected was to come face to face with the man whom she spent a wicked night of sin years earlier. But Ross makes his feelings known and expects nothing more than friendship and professional courtesy. This is a story of second chances and finding love between two strangers who needed each other for one night of passion years before. Ross has never forgotten Kelsey and in the days ahead he will discover that his feelings for Kelsey are growing with each encounter. But Kelsey has another climb planned in the Himalayan Mountains and Ross wonders if the climb is for her or someone else. The sexual attraction between Ross and Kelsey is immediate; the sex is hot and sensual and there is no denying there is a connection between the couple even though Ross tries to keep everything professional and respectable for his family. But Ross's need for Kelsey becomes distracting and in the end, it will be Kelsey who walks away when she believes there is nothing keeping her from leaving. Kelsey believes she has an obligation to her father and one that could place her in danger of not only losing the man she loves but losing her life as well. After every attempt to save his marriage, Ross Bencher and his wife decide they are better off as friends, and divorce after three kids and many years together. The night before Kelsey Hanson leaves to climb the deadliest mountain in world, she spends it at home in the company of one Ross Bencher – newly divorced Ross Bencher. And it’s the best sex of her life. His too. Three years into the future, Ross moves away from his New York City home and the very tight Bencher family to live closer to his kids in Colorado. When his ex-wife is called away on an extended business trip, Ross has to quickly step into the role of Mr. Mom. The babysitter his ex-wife hired has succumbed to food poisoning, and the agency is sending a replacement. The agency is owned and operated by Kelsey’s BFF … see where there is heading? While this dialogue driven story has everything required of a contemporary romance, there seems to be one missing ingredient. A hero the audience will love. Ross Bencher is a great dad, but he comes across as a condescending creep where Kelsey is concerned. I just never fell in love with him. Kelsey however, is a breath of fresh air. I found her tough exterior endearing and her sense of humor refreshing. Kelsey’s story is unique. I was curious to learn her back-story, and see how her relationship with her father would play out. But for me, I found it hard to care if Ross and Kelsey ended up together. I just couldn’t get passed Ross’s initial reaction when Kelsey rang his doorbell, and became the temporary babysitter. I always look for well-developed secondary characters. They breathe life into the principle parts, and that’s exactly what we have here. The kids’ relationship with Kelsey saves this storyline, and I loved how her friendship with each kid is developed. I like stories with a “second chance at love” theme, and that’s exactly what Ms. Scott delivers. One last note - I really DISLIKE this cover - ALOT! I don't see or feel any love here. In fact, I see questions in the guy's eyes. Almost like ... "hey you're cute, but I don't trust you with my kids!" Not a great cover for a romance novel Entangled!! Of the three Bencher family stories, the first installment, Rules of Negotiation has more heart, but I’m a sucker for these family dramas. That alone will keep me coming back for more.

Nonetheless, I wasn't at all confused and this book could easily be a stand alone. Falling for Mr. Wrong tells the story of Kelsey and Ross. They meet in a bar and both are instantly attracted to one another. Although it isn't normal for Kelsey or Ross to partake in one night stands they both do just that. Aside from doing the *cough* deed. They also share secrets they wouldn't normally tell other people. Both of them feel safe in the anonymity a one night stand provides. Kelsey tells Ross about her fear of dying--she's leaving on a trip to climb one of the tallest mountains with her father-- and Ross tells her about his divorce. Knowing they won't see each other again they share insecurities and fears they have in their lives. Fast forward three years later... Kelsey has decided to help out her friend with her nanny agency and has stepped in as a temporary nanny. Only to come face to face with Ross. DUN DUN DUN. I loved it! Although I knew it was coming I loved the tension and angst. Ross initially doesn't believe Kelsey is capable of taking care and keeping his children safe. He thinks Kelsey is reckless. Also he's still reeling from the shock that someone who was suppose to be a one night stand is now the nanny. He acted like a jerk for a while, which made me want to hit him upside the head! He was so judgey and preachy! Still I loved reading it. Also, I found it hilarious how terrified Kelsey was of the children at first. She acted like they where piranhas or something. After some time she warms up to the kids which was nice to read. Overall, I really enjoyed this story! Kelsey was slightly annoying at times but thankfully she makes up for it. The chemistry between Ross and Kelsey was wayyy hot. I just wanted them to get together. I did find Kelsey's whole I HAVE TO CLIMB THE MOUNTAIN bit a tad tiresome. I didn't really like that story line and would have liked if Kelsey had some other dilemma instead of this one. This book is a great fast read. It has sizzling romance, rock climbing- which I thought was cool- and a great cast of characters. I'll definetly be reading more from Inara Scott.

I loved the writing and the storyline. Our heroine Kelsey, is such a strong and independent woman. Both her parents were mountain-climbers and after a tragic accident with her mother, Kelsey always knew she had to follow that same path. Dedicated to her father, her climbing career and training schedule, we see Kelsey become conflicted when she falls for the yummy, divorced father of three, Ross Bencher. This is where it begins to get interesting, because Ross hasn’t been through a bitter divorce, which is something we usually see in romance novels. In fact, he has a very good friendship going on with his ex-wife. I really liked that twist. When Kelsey lands on Ross Bencher’s doorstep, three years after a very sexy one-night stand, to babysit his three kids, both are taken aback at seeing each other. At one moment I disliked Ross so much, but he just managed to win me back over, by declaring his love to Kelsey in front of her hard-assed father. This was such a sweet story, and it really tugged on my heart strings. We see both the characters grow in ways that you wouldn’t think they would possible grow, the fact that the kids play such a big role in this story, just made me melt, and then of course, the undeniable chemistry between Ross and Kelsey just radiated of the page. And don’t let me start on the love scenes, because, yowza! *heart flutters, knees get weak*

Kelsey's friend talks her into helping out her nanny business and unbeknownst to her she shows up on Ross's door step. Ross is an all around great guy! He is good deep down to his core. Whether he is dealing with his kids, ex-wife, brother or business it shows. He comes off a little rough with Kelsey at first. But seriously she is the last person he thought he would see at his door step ready to watch his kids. Kelsey is still training hard for her next adventure. Shocked as well, she can't believe she is standing in front of her one night stand from 3 years ago. She knows she is still attracted to Ross, but she fights her own heart so fiercely. For much of this story I had a hard time connecting with Kelsey like I did with Ross. That is until more of her layers are exposed towards the end of the story. She is a beautifully strong woman that is willing to make sacrifices and concessions for the ones she loves. After they have both made assumptions about each other and the layers begin to be peeled back things between these two start to heat up! This is quick read about family, love and all those things that matter most in life.

3.5 stars. Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for allowing me to review an ARC of "Falling For Mr. Wrong" by Inara Scott. Kelsey knows how to survive a blizzard in Nepal with nothing but a rock and a stick (okay, slight exaggeration!) but can't cook KD to save her life! She's completely committed to her father, but scared to let anyone else into her life. I love that she's athletic and driven - she's quite unlike any character I've ever read. Ross - he's been burned in love before, so this time he HAS to get it right, for the sake of his kids. He sounds like such a great father and a really nice person, but he's as gun shy as Kelsey! It was so much fun to watch these two battle it out from completely different perspectives. If you're looking for something light and romantic with realistic characters, you should definitely pick up something by Inara Scott - from what I've read, she won't disappoint!

This is the second book that I’ve read by Inara Scott, and it seems a bit absurd and impossible to me that she’s writing two very different genres. Everything was just so exciting to me, especially when it became apparent that the protagonists’ attraction wasn’t going away any time soon. I enjoyed seeing them struggle through their complicated relationship, and becoming better, stronger people for it. I expected a lot from the ending, especially since Kelsey and Ross’ situation was quite unusual, but all I got from it was childish banter that was quick and not very touching. It’s an overall sweet story, but the ending fell a little short. There were also a bunch of stuff I didn’t want to read about and it felt so long to me even though it probably only lasted 5 pages. Said stuff felt unnecessary to me, and didn’t really give much to plot development. Perhaps if the story was longer, more plotted out, and more complicated and diverse, these “unnecessary things” might have proved useful, but seeing as the story wasn’t any of those things, the imminent conclusion was just drawn out a bit farther.

I really enjoyed this final story about the Bencher family. I began confusing this series with another sibling-oriented series. Not only had I thought I read the first book about Brit/Tori (apparently I started with book 2 Melissa (sister) and Garth), but I thought I remembered Ross as a real jerk. Once I read Brit/Tori (after this one), I realized he was a very easy going guy and that cleared up a lot of confusion (and made me wonder what on earth other series I thought this was!). I liked that Ross immediately remembered Kelsey from their one night three years before. Kelsey was a great female lead and liked her confidence, drive and insecurities all in one. It made her a very dimensional character. She was also unique with her background and occupation (mountain climber). That was a refreshing take instead of the standard occupation. I also liked the relationship between Ross and his ex-wife and childhood girlfriend. By the end I was so surprised and really understood the reason for their divorce. It wouldn't be too bad to read a book about her and her future. Ross broke my heart several times the way he would speak to Kelsey and treat her lifestyle, age, etc. as so insignificant and inferior to his own stereotypes. Kelsey was definitely a better woman than me (or at least took the highroad) as I would have kicked him in the shins and walked off. Loved this book!

It is because of these differences that makes the book a refreshing change and really endeared me to the couple. Russ's children were loveable as well, even Luke! Kudos to the author for giving Kelsey a very different profession and lifestyle than you find in a typical romance.

I wasn't sure how I was going to like this story, but once I got into it it kept me hooked right until the end. The hero Ross is the ultimate good guy and father. Kelsey, at first appearing to be a crazed adrenaline freak has so much more inside. The secondary characters were interesting, the children and Kelsey's friend Marie. We also get to see Brit and Tori from an earlier book in the series which I might have a look at sometime.

On the surface Ross and Kelsey are all wrong for each other. Ross wants a stable, reliable, and safe woman. Kelsey is far from that. This was a fantastic book, with just the tiniest hint of danger on the horizon. Kelsey was so very relatable - while appearing perfect at first, I grew to love each and every one of her flaws as they showed up. One of my favorite romance novellas of the year. - See more at: http://hotofftheshelves.blogspot.com/...

Kelsey is a beautiful intelligent woman who is good with his children. As they spend time together, they realize that physical attraction has turned to something deeper. Can they overcome the past so they can have a future? Inara Scott delivers a deeply emotional story combined with a steamy romance. Her characters have emotional depth and a powerful physical connection. The plot is solid and the reader has empathy with Ross and Kelsey's doubts and insecurities. I enjoyed Falling For Mr. Wrong and highly recommend it.

In Falling for Mr. Wrong by Inara Scott, Ross Bencher and Kelsey Hanson meet on the day of his divorce from his wife of 10 years. The chemistry and attraction is immediate, the night that follows is hot, sexy and amazing. They both take this as a fling, a one-night thing, since he is town for business and she is leaving on a trip. My first book by this author and i totally enjoyed it. I didn't read the first two books, but this one was more of a stand alone for me. Lovely story where author presents us with the past and present of the main characters. I like how Kelsey and Ross, grew to know each other more after meeting again a few years back...and their road to overcome their past so they can have what lies ahead. I thought that Rosse's kids played a big part in this novel, it kinda helped mold the story...very sweet ap My first book by this author and i totally enjoyed it. 3.5 stars rounding up. After the one steamy night Kelsey and Ross had shared three years prior I was looking for more chemistry between them once they see each other again but I just didn't feel it, this really played on me throughout the rest of the book. I also found myself conflicted with how I felt about Ross, I know why he acted the way he did but I couldn't help but feel that Kelsey deserved better. I ended up rounding up to four stars because I enjoyed seeing Kelsey with Ross's children and 3.5 stars rounding up. Julia was such a sweetheart, all three kids added to the story :) Overall this was a good read and I will be reading more from Inara Scott in the future.
