The last chapter of great journey is totally awesome. It touched myself and made me want to plan my future. Between love and dreams. What a wonderful life, when you can reach your dreams in the strange land with someone who you love the most?

The last series from trilogy of five land towers. I love the ending, it tells me how to survive and believe in yourself. And I love the way he describes the life in other countries. Ahmad Fuadi is such an inspirational writer. 4 stars for him.

hmmm... how can I say it a a very delicate way? this was the just-ok book compare to the first two books of the trilogy. I did not get the feeling on this book. It just flowing on and on... without any big issues or conflicts or anything to lighten the story. The only issued that seem quite big was the 9/11 and when his lost his 'brother'. But still I did not get into it. Anyway... it's done. I read all the books and bravo for the long-struggling-never-ending-spirit-and-passion of Alif Fikri. hmmm... how can I say it a a very delicate way? this was the just-ok book compare to the first two books of the trilogy. the book is obviously the author's thin-veiled attempt at romanticizing his own life. well, sure he is good and straightforward and religious and all that, good for you, but is alif fikri an interesting character in the world of fiction? i don't think so. is the book well-written? sure it is. is the message necessary for the currently corruption-infested indonesia? yes, undoubtedly so. we need our dose of meritocracy. but i think sometimes it does not necessarily make a good, fascinating read. the book is obviously the author's thin-veiled attempt at romanticizing his own life. well, sure he is good and straightforward and religious and all that, good for you, but is alif fikri an interesting character in the world of fiction? i don't think so. is the book well-written? sure it is. is the message necessary for the currently corruption-infested indonesia? yes, undoubtedly so. we need our dose of meritocracy. but i think sometimes it does not necessarily make a good, fascinating read.

best of three. totally can realte to this part of his life (first half of it actually) masa masa bekerja, mencari tujuan hidup, menata masa depan sayangnya some of story terlalu cepat dan ga dijabarkan, kurang detail, kek pas interview fullbright, I was so damn curious about the questions given and how he answered them, atau juga ketika dia menikah sama dinara
