This book is not to be read in public unless you don't mind walking around in wet soggy panties.LOL!! I loved getting to know Liz the free spirited say it like she means it best friend of Ashlyn from Unravel Me. And I loved the nice dose of Aiden and Ashlyn we got, HOT SEX and wall banging included. *smirks* If you have read book one in the Unravel me series SIDENOTE if you have not you should. Back to what I was saying... If you have read book one in the Unravel me series then you are well acquainted with Liz, her libido and out spoken ways. So watching Liz fight temptation in this book was...freaking hilarious. Mainly because fighting temptation is not in her vocabulary. The highly sexual Liz cannot believe her luck when she meets her HOT AS HELL neighbor Cohen a volunteer fire fighter who just so happens to be a "virgin." YES, you read that right he is indeed a virgin. Leave it to out girl Liz to corrupt him. *chuckles* 'I only wanted the physical with him — not the emotional' ~Liz The friendship they had quickly turned in to lust. Things became physical, minus the intercourse. And I'm not talking heavy petting... Oh no, I'm talking everything BUT sex. Which lead to moments when he made himself to hard to resist. “Cohen, those have to stay on, or nothing is going to stop me from riding your cock.” ~Liz The best part of this book was Liz fighting her emotions she had to remind herself to keep it all physical even though both her body and her heart definitely wanted Cohen. However she followed her body and fought her heart. Liz enjoyed playing with the virgin. Yet Cohen was seeking for more on an emotional level. He was not fond of her holding back so as time went on he let her know it. Liz was straddling a line, a very fine line and he was done playing. As I read on I came to realize that Liz was in fact holding back. The Liz we know and love had deep secrets. Secrets that made her feel inadequate and not fit to be the right woman for Cohen. 'I realized for the first time that keeping my love boxed up was more than just a metaphor.' ~Liz Dear Readers If your looking for a fun panty melting quick read then this is for you. This book gets four solid stars because I love this author and I simply could not put the book down. Check it out! He never wants to treat a woman the way his mother was treated and vows only to sleep with someone when he’s in love. Cohen feels his virginity is worth something and the connection sleeping with someone forms is weighty, and should mean something. I totally agree. Eliza, “Liz” has a whole different take on relationships. She’s put up armor to protect her injured heart, so she only goes for “casual” relationships. She wants sex to be a physical act and keep emotions separate. When she meets Cohen, Liz is immediately attracted to him but doesn’t want to get involved when she finds out his views. The heart doesn’t always cooperate with the mind, so Liz is in for a rude awakening. I adored Cohen and his convictions! It’s nice for a change to read about someone who has them. The fact that he viewed sex as more than just a physical act was refreshing. I loved how he slowly burrowed his way into Liz’s heart (and mine, too!)by spending time and getting to know her. Seducing the mind first is always sexier, IMO. And even though Cohen isn’t experienced in sex, he was very seductive. My heart thumped hard and my temperature rose while reading some of their moments! Here’s a taste: His hand came to rest at the base of my throat. It was heavy and warm. He lightly brushed his fingertips along my bare collarbone, tracing a lazy pattern on my skin. The roughness of his fingers against that soft, innocent patch of flesh set my heart racing. I wanted more. I licked my lips, waiting. He bent his head down to mine, while at the same time burying his hand in my hair. He lightly kissed the corner of my jaw. “God you’re beautiful,” he murmured. I swallowed roughly at his declaration. He was so open and honest. I didn’t want or need touching or romantic, but every caress, every gaze from Cohen felt like more. See what I mean?!! *fans self* This is the second story I’ve read by Kendall Ryan, and while I had some minor issues with her debut (still enjoyed it), I recognized that she would be someone to follow. I can see her growth as a writer in Make Me Yours, and I can’t wait to read more of her stories. She has a captivating and compelling style that addicts you from the very first page.

This book is not as good as the first one of the series. But, I have liked it. The author has so clearly depicted the theme of the novel - the difference between appearance and reality. This book shows that what we see is not always what it really is. The character of Liz is strong on the outside. She has no care about anything. But, the author has portrayed his character in a way that instead of laughing at him, the readers will feel respect for him. This book encourages the readers to not judge or stereotype people blindly.

Kendall Ryan creates a build up that is fun to read and hard ignore and did a great job linking the story with the previous book. Eliza/Easy E and Cohen became fast friends although Liz puts the breaks on several times out of fear of not being capable of giving Cohen the things he seeks in THE woman he shares himself and his future with. Eliza has to deal with the grief from her past losses in order to greet her future. "The truth was I felt alive with Cohen. He made the baggage of my past feel lighter, helped me to just live in the moment. It was refreshing." On a side note: The character I wanted to like but didn’t was Denise, Cohen’s mother. Her behavior towards Liz I found to be outright rude. Liz is a beautiful accomplished woman and Denise pushing the young store greeter as a choice for Cohen was weird and mean. She pushed Liz away even after Liz helped her family so not a Christian thing to do. I found that after I finished reading the book I would have liked some closure with Denise for Liz. Overall, this was a good read with a HEA and an adorable doggy named Bob!

I really liked this book. The story of crazy, fun loving, one-night-stand Liz who meets her hot new neighbor Cohen. All her charms aren't enough to entice this sex on a stick man into her bed. Wow….Cohen is a great guy. Sweet, caring and he sounded completely yummy!!! Liz is a good character too and we met her in the first book of this series. I knew she would be a bit of a puzzle and I wasn’t sure about her from the first book but once you know her whole story it makes sense. Although this book was enjoyable I did feel that parts were rushed or maybe not completely developed….not sure how to really explain it. Also Cohen’s mother, I felt needed to be slapped. My roomie Brandie just reviewed this book last week and let me tell you… she was spot on! I loved this book!! Even more so than Kendall Ryan’s first book Unravel Me, which don’t get me wrong… that was really good too. She creates sexual tension that continues to build as the story progresses and what we finally get is a full on explosion. Loved it!! She creates sexual tension that continues to build as the story progresses and what we finally get is a full on explosion. Loved it!! In this book, we meet Liz who is finishing her Ph.D in Psychology and living a life filled with shallow, no-commitment relationships. She has a past that continues to haunt her, so when she meets Cohen it becomes a battle of facing her fears and learning to get past the event in her life that changed her perspective on love. Cohen comes from a family where he was raised by a single mom. He’d devoted to the ones he loves and lives his life according to values that are defined by his past as well. He refuses to share himself completely until he knows he can be certain he’s met “the one.” When these two collide, it becomes a journey of discovery, self realization and lots of good stuff in between. Liz and Cohen were a perfect pair. I enjoyed witnessing the tension build between these two, but most of all I appreciated the sincerity of their relationship. One could easily become frustrated with Liz’s constant flightiness, but when her past is fully revealed, as a reader it’s difficult not to empathize. I adored how Cohen handled Liz throughout the novel. He was patient, understanding and most of all loving in all the ways that mattered. He’d do little things for Liz like get her a sweatshirt when she was cold, bring her a water when she was thirsty, carry her bags when they were too heavy… all without being asked and at the most unexpected moments. I kept awwwww'ing like a fool every time he appeared. It was those actions and other moments of sincerity that made me fall for this character completely. I really enjoyed this installment to the Unravel Me series and I can’t wait to read her next book, Hard to Love.

Sorry it took me forever to get back. *phew* Damn job and crazy life get in the way. Where was I... In Ms. Ryan's first book, UNRAVEL ME, we met Ashlyn and "Logan" who is really Aiden (By the way, I REALLY loved her first book. Pick it up. read it. Enjoy it.) We also met Ashlyn's best friend Liz but really don't know much about her except that she can be an uber bitch sometimes. Well, we find out why Liz is so guarded and why she is the way she is. Liz meets Cohen and sparks fly! At first he doesn't even give her the time of day but hot damn does he get all in her business when she knocks on his door that night. (No it wasn't for a bootie call but frak I wish it had been)Now, Liz tries to get her mojo on with Cohen but behold there is a halt to their maybe sexcapade. What would that be, you ask? Well it just so happens that Cohen, at the ripe age of his early 20s, is a...wait for it...a VIRGIN! Yes, this hot piece of male specimen is a virgin. And to top it off he wants to stay that way until he finds The One. No you will understand how sexually frustrated a horny girl like Liz can get. And there is one particular scene that Ashlyn and Aiden do a cameo in and holy shit is that cameo OUT OF CONTROL! There is only so much one can take. So much so that the sexual tension between Liz and Cohen has come to a breaking point. Now, I am not saying they sleep together but everything under the sun OTHER then having sex is accomplished. Let me put it to you this way: just because Cohen hasn't done THE DEED with any girls does NOT mean he hasn't done OTHER things with girls. He has actually MASTERED it. Case and point: "I didn't know how he was doing what he was doing to me, but holy mother of God, it felt amazing. This boy might not have had sex before, but he clearly had practiced some other things......How did you learn how to..."/"I've probably just had enough practice. I haven't had sex, but I've definitely done all the other stuff, Eliza. I am a guy." (You'll also find out why she goes by Liz and not Eliza anymore). Overall, I REALLY loved this book. I was uber excited to know that there was a sequel to UNRAVEL ME. I loved Ashlyn and Aiden and loved Liz and Cohen just as much. The epilogue was just heart flutter wonderful. Totally recommend these two books. Couple favorite quotes/moments: "Nothing says stripper like glitter on your underpants." "Nineteen-ninety-six called and wants its pager back." "I need it for work." "Are you a pimp?" "Nope." "A drug dealer?" "Um, no. I'm a volunteer at the Chicago Fire Department." "You're a firefighter?' "Yeah." Wow that would explain his insanely musclar body.

The characters had depth and I found myself immersed in this book from start to finish. Gitte: Absolutely Jenny, I really enjoyed this story, it had everything, including the “unusual” and yeah I loved the characters! I thought the Author did a FAB job with this book; I was hooked and left completely satisfied by the end. Jenny: It was a panty dropping read wasn’t it Gitte, which is pretty amazing considering our Hero Cohen is a virgin. That’s right folks, you read right. Cohen is a smoking hot, volunteer fire-fighter and a virgin and I just think I might be in love with him! Gitte: Sure was and I LOVED Cohen, he made such a refreshing hero…and he REALLY was a hero that’s for sure! Like Liz, I was completely drawn to him. He certainly was skilled….in so many ways! Jenny: He certainly was. So, we first met Liz, the snarky, commitment phobe, highly sexed friend of Ashlyn in Unravel Me (Unravel Me #1). Liz is outspoken and is very clear that she wants sex. No commitment, just sex. We didn’t get to know a whole lot about Liz in Unravel Me so to see her in this book and have her story unfold I must admit I really warmed to her and liked her a lot. She is still the snarky, highly sexed Liz, but we see so much more of her and she has a lot of depth that wasn’t uncovered until now. Gitte: I really liked Liz. She is an ‘out there’ feisty and fun girl who really grew on me. A free-spirit! At no point did her outspokenness or attitude annoy me, and I can completely see why she was drawn like a moth to a flame when it came to Cohen. I mean who wouldn’t be, not only was he delicious he also had intrigue. It started as friendship and Liz almost acting like the instigator in their relationship, however, no doubt about it, Cohen had the upper hand and his personality completely complemented Liz’s and they evened each other out on both an emotional level as well as the physical. Jenny: Liz isn’t about to take Cohen’s virginity but she finds it so hard holding back from this very hot, very beautiful man. Temptation is well and truly put in her way with Cohen. Liz has a past that little by little I enjoyed being unraveling. We watched the layers peel away and we came to understand her so much more. Liz is all about the physical connection and doesn’t want to change. Gitte: I absolutely loved Cohen. Despite his laid back attitude, he was intense, focused and knew what he wanted. He is a hero…a hot gorgeous hero! Oh and he has a dog called Bob….that sleeps in his bed…I have no idea why I loved this fact so much…but I did!! Jenny: Hmmm…okay…the dog. Moving right along. Well, what wasn’t to love about Cohen. This man was talented in many ways and we’re not just talking fire fighting here. Wow! Kendall Grey can certainly write a hot sex scene with no sex, this was a really hot little read that’s for sure. Cohen is kind, patient and all round just a really nice guy. Certain incidences in his past have forced him to make the choice to remain a virgin until that special girl comes along. He wants to connect on an emotional level and not just a physical one. He’s definitely understanding but by no means a pushover and he could certainly put Liz in her place when need be. The sexual tension is intense and at no point does it become frustrating or boring. In fact just the opposite. Gitte: I agree Jenny, at no point reading this story did I get bored, rather I thought it was a great read for how light and short it was. It had fab characters and a refreshing storyline. Jenny: Me neither Gitte. It definitely kept me interested and entertained throughout that’s for sure. I really enjoyed this book . I was looking for something quick, light but with depth and I certainly found it in this book. I loved revisiting Ashlyn and Aiden and just loved this book. I couldn’t put it down. J&G: To sum up this book was a sexy, passionate and emotional story with funny and lovable characters – Kendall Ryan’s Books really are like a breath of fresh air.

I really enjoyed this book! It was much better then Unravel Me. I have a special place in my heart for Cohen's--since I have my own Cohen. Although he is 3.5 and so it was a little disturbing to read about some of things this Cohen was doing to Liz! ;). Liz and Cohen were both really likable characters and I loved how sarcastic Liz was--I laughed out loud several times. And for a bunch of non-sex scenes they sure were HOT! (The actual sex scenes were too). It was a sweet story and a quick read. I really enjoyed this book! It was much better then Unravel Me. Kendall Ryan is definitely an author to keep an eye on. In her first novel Unravel Me, "Psychology student Ashlyn Drake’s neat, orderly life takes a turn for the crazy when she finds the perfect subject for her amnesia thesis – a young man without any memory of his previous life, including the murder he’s accused of committing." Unravel Me was an original, mysterious, passionate romance novel. Make Me Yours features two new main characters, but it also updates readers on the two main character's from Unravel Me. In Make Me Yours, "Emotionally crippled Liz isn’t looking for a relationship when she meets delish boy-next-door, Cohen. He’s a few years younger, a volunteer firefighter, oh…and a virgin, making him totally off limits. But never one to back away from a challenge, she’s drawn to him even while she continues to satisfy her physical needs elsewhere." While Make Me Yours wasn't mysterious, it was an original, passionate romance novel. I like how Ms. Ryan explores something new and fun in each novel she has written. Unravel Me was about an amnesia patient and Make Me Yours was about a male virgin. I can honestly say that I haven't read a lot, if any, novels about a male, in his twenties, who is a virgin. I'm a sucker for alpha males, and honestly, I was a little worried about how Ms. Ryan would make me fall for a virgin without making him look like a wuss. Oh, not only did Ms. Ryan succeed in making me fall for Cohen, she did so with flying colors. I never once thought of Cohen as a wuss. In fact, it's safe to say that I fell head over heels in love with Cohen. And surprisingly, in the end, he even had a little bit of an alpha male in him. Cohen and Liz were HOT together! Yes, Cohen is a virgin, but that doesn't mean that things don't get hot and steamy between the two main characters. Trust me, even though the main characters don't jump straight into the sheets, readers will really enjoy the character's passionate foreplay. I gave Make Me Yours (Unravel Me #2) by Kendall Ryan 4 STARS. In my opinion, this book is a MUST READ. -XOXO READING, EATING AND DREAMING

AMAZING!!!!! Review to come. Let me just start by saying I DEVOURED this book. It was so good I couldn't put it down until I was finished. I loved the first book (Unravel Me) and this book did not disappoint at all. I felt it was a great follow up book. I like the fact that you don't have to read the 1st book to read this book. With that said I would recommend this book to everyone. This was a great love story with some really steamy scenes. Kendall Ryan really knows how to write sex. Even if the AMAZING!!!!! I fell in love with Liz in the 1st book, so I was excited to see that she got her own story. And what a story it was. I never realized how broken she really is. I thought Cohen was an excellent match for Liz, they complimented each other well. I was upset with the way Cohen's mom treated Liz, I don't think she deserved it, specially when she didn't even know her. Can I just say Cohen was so swoon worthy. What a sexy and HOT virgin. He was also an understanding and patient man. I fell in love with Cohen. So with that all said go out and get this book and read it, you won't be sorry :)

Make Me Yours is the story of Liz (Ash’s fun bff from Unravel Me) and Cohen... Oh I loved Cohen. He was so adorable, sweet and of course HOT! The first half of the book Liz seriously cracked me up! Things got a little more serious towards the end, but that wasn’t a bad thing. It really came together why Liz was the way she was, especially with Cohen. It was great that Ashlyn and ‘Logan’ had a few moments too! I really enjoyed this book. For me it was a little better than Unravel Me, which I also Make Me Yours is the story of Liz (Ash’s fun bff from Unravel Me) and Cohen... Oh I loved Cohen. The ending was absolutely perfect!

I love, love, LOVED Liz and Cohen’s story! Hell, I loved Cohen!!! I devoured this in one evening. Make Me Yours was “Steamilicious” with an intriguing storyline. Plus, there is an interesting twist with our hero being a virgin. This only added to depth of his character. Cohen was a perfect strong male lead. I’m super excited that we won’t have to wait too long for Kendall’s next novel Hard To Love. ;)

I absolutely adored this book. I loved getting to see a different side to the wild, horny, commitment-phobe Liz. She is a great character. Of course I fell in love with Cohen...could he be any sweeter!? Definitely a must read.

Hot. Intense. Emotional. Holy shit, what a ride! Everyone wants a happy-ever-after. For Cohen, it's to be a responsible man and not live the same mistakes his father did. For Eliza, it's to forget her past pain and forget the person she used to be. What these two don't see coming is their intense attraction and need for each other, and how it changes everything. Eliza (Liz) lives her life with no commitments and hardened by the hurt of her past. She goes to school for her PhD, has a no-strings-att Hot. Intense. Emotional. Holy shit, what a ride! What these two don't see coming is their intense attraction and need for each other, and how it changes everything. Eliza (Liz) lives her life with no commitments and hardened by the hurt of her past. She goes to school for her PhD, has a no-strings-attached affair with a professor, and refuses to entertain the fact that she can ever love or be in a relationship. Her past holds her back from finding real love and gives her the fuel she needs to feed her promiscuous lifestyle. This 'holding back' started to irritate me until I realized what she had really gone through. My advice to anyone reading this book who starts to get irritated with Liz - give her a chance. Cohen is AMAZING. After his mom was abandoned by his father at a young pregnant age - Cohen resolved to always strive to be a good and responsible man. This meant getting a job at age 15 to help support his mom and little sister. It also meant staying a virgin, because he never wanted to put himself or another woman into the same type of situation his mom went through unless he was in love with her. His morals and sense of responsibility is endearing. Going to college, while being a volunteer Chicago Firefigher, as well as a part time bouncer at a night club - he's also the new neighbor who's moved into the apartment above Liz's. The first time they meet it's not really with a bang. But after an unwelcome bat takes up residence in Liz's apartment and she seeks shelter and assistance upstairs with the hot, virginal firefighter - things start to heat up. They start a friendship that quickly turns into more. Neither of them can deny the desire and connection they feel. But Liz holds back because of her past and her fear of hurting Cohen. At first I really started to get angry at her for pushing away this perfect and patient man. But later on I understood her reasons and realized things had to happen this way for them to find their happiness. There are some HOT AND STEAMY moments between these two that sizzle off the pages. And for Cohen being a virgin - he's certainly not lacking inexperience. This book is sexy and leaves your heart pumping. These two go through some serious moments that test whether they are really meant to be together. Liz has to mourn her past and deal with her issues before she can truly be worthy of Cohen's love. A wonderful read I highly recommend!

I LOVED this book! I couldn't put it down, and ended up reading it in one sitting! I loved the intimate scenes between Liz and Cohen ~ Kendall Ryan should consider writing erotic fiction as she sure knows how to write an intense sex scene! As much as I liked the first book ~ Unravel Me (review), this book is ten times better! The story was great, the characters were perfect, and the sex scenes... oh those sex scenes ~ they were so filled with angst, that I could feel the want dripping off the characters! Liz was such a great character, with much more depth than I ever expected. In the first book you see her as being a bit of party girl who likes to go out and have fun, but through reading her story you learn her reasoning for being the way that she is ~ it's all a way to protect herself from falling for someone, and the possibility of losing them, just like she lost her fiance Paul five years earlier. When Liz meets Cohen for the first time it is clear she sees him as any other guy who she wants to sleep with and forget about. However, once she learns that he is her new neighbor, and she ends up spending a night sleeping in his bed, she knows there is something different about him. Learning pretty early on that he is a virgin, and wants to wait for the one that he loves, although Liz wants him, she never once pushes him to do anything further with her, understanding why he wants to wait. However, as they are not having sex, this leads to Liz having to deal with the emotional side of their 'relationship' rather than the physical side, something she struggles to do. Cohen was the perfect guy, he was so sweet and caring, and although he was such a good guy (a virgin, a volunteer firefighter, loved his mum, went to church), he was still desirable ~ he had an edge to him which straight away made you love him, and want him just as much as Liz did. Although he was younger than her by a few years, it never once showed, as Cohen came across as very mature for a 21 year old. His reasons for being a virgin were very sweet, and understandable and was actually quite endearing which I didn't expect. Absolutely loved this book!! The concept for it was fresh, original, and totally like anything else out there right now. Only reason that I did not give it five stars was b/c, just like Ms. Ryan's first book, I feel like there could've been so much more story. She had more here that she didn't capitalize on. Important elements are a bit rushed through...elements that she could have easily spent a few chapters on. The ending, although a happy one, I also felt was a bit rushed. She has great imagination and creativity, and with both her books, I was totally engrossed and engaged. These characters deserved a bit more.

3.5 stars What a misleading blurb! It makes it sound like our heroine, Liz, continues to have sex with OM whilst speeing in the hero's arms in the night. Absolutely not true. She never has sex with OM after meeting Cohen. So when I was reading their cute, cuddling scenes I was dreading the OM sex scenes that actually never came. Me dreading heroine sleeping with OP?? Shocking, I know! After reading countless romances where hero is not celibate after meeting the women who is supposedly the love of 3.5 stars What a misleading blurb! After reading countless romances where hero is not celibate after meeting the women who is supposedly the love of his life, I relish the books where a brave author finally decides switch things up and acknowledges that the women also have sexual needs and capable of having sex with a man who is not their true love. But in this one, our hero is sweet, kind and a virgin! So it wouldn't feel right if she slept with OM. Also, their cuddling scenes were really sexualised so it did not feel like they are friends at all! Both are crazy attracted to each other and from get go, it is obvious they will be more than friends. So why not a higher rating? For starters, the ending was very rushed IMO and the writing a bit too simplistic for my taste. Also, I strongly disliked the heroine's friend, Ashlyn who was the heroine in the first book. She was so annoying! When she thinks Liz and Cohen had sex, she is very disaproving and angry at Liz as he is scared Liz will hurt the poor virgin Cohen. They are both adults and if Cohen himself wants to lose his virnity to Liz, how is it any of her freaking business?? Cohen knows what the deal is, its not like Liz is leading him on, Cohen knows she doesn't date and if he still is not deterred, it's not Ashlyn place to stop them from having sex. And she never even apologised! And I find it highly annoying when a women likes causal sex and is commitment-phoebe but her friends keep trying to convince her to try dating. AS IF IT IS IMPOSSBLE FOR A WOMEN TO BE HAPPY WITHOUT THE LOVE OF A MAN. (For the record, no, it is perfectly possible to be happy, fulfilled and complete whilst being single!) If they are really your friends, they would support you and respect your choices/ beliefs! They should be happy that you are happy. You are better off cutting friends like that from your life. But I will give Ashlyn the benefit of the doubt here because Liz wasn't really happy with all the casual sex, she felt empty and hollow inside because she has been bottling up her feelings and refusing herself to really connect to her others emotionally as she is too scared of getting hurt. So maybe being her BFF, Ashlyn knew this and for that reason encouraged her to date and open herself up to to love again. Which leads to my last point, I wished Liz had casual sex, didn't date and was happy! Is it too much to ask for??? A women who is single, loves hooking up and is mentally healthy and happy!? But I guess it makes sense she wasn't really happy, she has a heartbreaking past and has never really moved on from it. Like the plot says, she is emotionally damaged. Instead of trying to heal in a healthy way, she just buried her old self and ran away from her situation.
