I don't know if I would ever move this book to my "read" shelf, as it is one of the great browsing experiences of bookdom. Nicely laid out and with great iconic pictures from the movies, it contains 1,000 essaylets on films the many authors think significant for a variety of reasons. A great book for anyone who loves films. There is much to remember here, and much to discover.
