Since this is my book, it becomes a bit difficult to review. I will, however, endeavor to be unbiased in my critique. The first in the series of "The Form Benders," "A Sheep in Wolf's Clothing" is an interesting and lively story set in the Sierra Mountains of California. A young man, about to turn sixteen, suddenly finds himself dealing with an ability that his parents never told him about. Reminiscent of "Teen Wolf" and "Harry Potter", magic and wickedness fight for control of our hero as he finds himself involved in the lives of the form benders and ultimately, accepts his place within the group. Clever and insightful, "The Form Benders, A Sheep in Wolf's Clothing" engages the reader from the very first page. A coming of age story, filled with the typical pitfalls and opportunities for growth, "The Form Benders" is a story of growth through adversity. Fast paced and surprising, every turn of the page brings Ripley's journey to become the man he is meant to be, alive. Though parts of the book become almost poetic in their descriptions, they don't distract the reader from the storyline. The characters are vivid and alive as Ripley's relationships with them unfold. With twists and turns, the story unfolds and ultimately comes to a satisfying conclusion with hints of more to come in book two. http://formbenders.blogspot.com/ http://newauthorsforum.blogspot.com/
